If one of my dogs was killed and I found out who did it I'd have to cause some serious injuries to that person.

Sorry to hear that. I can't stand people that hurt animals, it's just ridiculous.

So sorry to hear that, I know what it's like to lose loved ones (pets) they are just as important as people sometimes because they are there for you 24/7 and have a strange radar on how you are feeling. I hope you feel better soon.

My sister and I live next door to each other and our dogs share my fenced area. Not long ago her dog suffered a mysterious injury that resulted in the loss of an eye.

No, When I first took him to the vet they gave him antibiotics and pain relievers. He got better but went into seizers today. They only found the brain swelling today.

How do you know "someone" killed your dog? I had a dog kill himself by blunt trauma by pulling something down on his head.

Depending on where you live it could be some poisonous plants, or he could have eaten a rodent that had been poisioned, snake bite, something toxic in the ground, or some fucked up neighbor that doesn't like dogs, or some teenage punks looking for cheap thrills.

One of my dogs had a scorpion in his mouth that was still alive. Same dog also ate the head off a rattlesnake, and tried to kill a skunk.

Its pretty risky leaving dogs out in yards, especially if you go out somewhere. What I did was build a fenced area within the fenced area for when I would go out. Also on the outer fence I then did a double perimeter fence like they do at correctional facilities. Mostly to protect any neighbor kids from sticking their hands through the fence and getting bitten. So this provided 3 levels of insulation from anyone fucking with them.

Areas he had access to were Katrina guts. Nothing to "pull down"....

When I first took him to the vet I told the vet I was afraid someone had poisened him . At the time of other odd activities someone left 2 dog biscuits perfectly placed right inside the front of my mailbox :Oh crap

It wasn't quick, man... but my buddy will be there for me I'm pretty sure.

Maybe try a setup in this case. Put out some flyers in your neighborhood offering puppies for sale. Place a video cam on your back yard and setup a small covered enclosure with just a speaker inside. Find someone with puppies, or go to a local pet shop or pound and make a recording of the puppies barking. Put the recordind on an MP3 Player set to LOOP. Make sure its real noisy sounding and drive off for an afternoon. You'll probably get your culprit on that video.

My God, I'm so sorry. I truly hope you find out who is behind this and if the law slaps them in the wrist you bash them in the fucking head. People who kill animals aren't people and they're not animals. They're scum.

The only good thing is that at least your buddy probably took comfort from you being there when he passed.
