Can you imagine yourself posting on a forum regularly for 10+ years?
I surely can't
Even if I will still be in this biz in 5 or 10 years from now, I cant imagine myself still posting on GFY at that time or any other similar forum :error |
or maybe everyone will end up like Amp in a few years?
anyway, just some random thought of the day
pass the weed nigga
Maybe not, but I can imagine replacing it with several hours a day of videoconferencing...
In 10 years I won't be around to post any where.
:( |
yeah i think i can as long as i'm still in the line of work or interested in whatever the board is about

I wish I was still young but the Dr doesn't think I will be around in 10. I shouldn't have said anything I'm just having a hard day. :( |

To me, though, you do seem quite young, and I sincerely hope your doctor is wrong. They tend to, though - my cousin was supposed to die before reaching 20. He's now in his thirties, and in good health. Anyway, I suck at this, so just don't die on us. In 30 years, when the government has banned nudity and the porn industry has gone underground, I hope I'll still see you posting pics of your boobs & beer on GFY. |
Sure, why not. As long as it's biz related.
Turboangel, I hope you are wrong. Doctors are a lot of times. |
I'll give this thread a bump in 10 years, just to see who is still around :thumbsup
nah i can't
Sure, why not.

In that case let me put a sigspot right here. See sig for my own range of paysites! (Hey I have 10 years to create them!) |

I don't have to imagine :1orglaugh

if I'm not retired and enjoying the sun on a beach somewhere, yeah I guess.

In 10 years the only thing I'll be posting on hopefully is my gold plated toilet
I wonder what madawgz post count will be in 10 years... :Oh crap
There are some I've been posting on for 7-8 so it's not unheard of for 10.
:Oh crap |
If it's GFY--sure, why not? My posting on GFY since 2003 (along with friends I made through lurking since 2001) has seen my company go from a 1 man operation operating off a laptop in a condo to a multi-company operation based in 2 locations and growing. Besides... GFY is extremely addicting and entertaining.
I seriously don't think so..been here 4 years already
Looking at the answers you can tell who is here to pull the business out of the bullshit and who's here to bullshit.
I can't look that far.
I don't think so.

will there be forums in 10 years?

I still pop into #tmbg on Undernet via IRC on occasion. I started in 1996, a decade ago. Chat boards and chat rooms can be addictive.
you will.
10 years is too far, but if i have interest, why not...

I can't imagine doing the same for another 6 years. Unless you're a program owner, sales rep, programmer like you or outsourcing company owner like Gene, you don't really need GFY. Or you make yourself a reputation and set of contacts and then you simply use it without getting involved anymore in the board bullshit. Sure, visiting GFY regularly has its benefits but its far from crucial for making money online. |

not to mention the fact that when you're moving to passive ways of making money, then you should actually enjoy it by travelling etc and not sitting at home in front of the PC
posting until i can :)
I got 5 more years... lets see
