To me, though, you do seem quite young, and I sincerely hope your doctor is wrong. They tend to, though - my cousin was supposed to die before reaching 20. He's now in his thirties, and in good health.

If it's GFY--sure, why not? My posting on GFY since 2003 (along with friends I made through lurking since 2001) has seen my company go from a 1 man operation operating off a laptop in a condo to a multi-company operation based in 2 locations and growing. Besides... GFY is extremely addicting and entertaining.

Unless you're a program owner, sales rep, programmer like you or outsourcing company owner like Gene, you don't really need GFY. Or you make yourself a reputation and set of contacts and then you simply use it without getting involved anymore in the board bullshit.

Sure, visiting GFY regularly has its benefits but its far from crucial for making money online.

there are tons of succesfull ppl who dont post on boards at all, or post once every two months...

not to mention the fact that when you're moving to passive ways of making money, then you should actually enjoy it by travelling etc and not sitting at home in front of the PC
