Orange County Housewives salaries???
 

The one guy lives in a $3 mil house and he is a VP at a title company. The other guy is a talent scout for a baseball team (used to be pro player). And the third guy is VP of a manufactoring company.

So to be in this show they all make close to a million a year? I did not know VP's made that.

2. Monthly payment on a $3mil house at 7% interest with 5% down is $26K
3. You could swing that on less than $1mil a year
4. A lot of people make $1mil+ a year :thumbsup

I've seen a few episodes and its a bit silly but like most reality tv, its the tv equivalent of juke food ;)

I dont think the baseball scout makes a ton of money - maybe he does, but you forget to mention that his wife is a top real estate agent. On one of the episodes she was showing a $10 million dollar house.

a 5% fee of $10 million = $500,000 ( I think most agents take 5% on houses over $1 million, but 500K seems high). So if she personally gets half of that fee, its $250k!

I'm a real housewife in Orange County but I don't look, earn or act anything like those women do! Yikes! Talk about typecasting a whole county.

I watched this show last week with with my GF. I'm not sure about incomes but these two below would get the cack for sure.

LOL I love how you explaned it. The show was filmed awhile back and the cast is actually told to ham it up for the cameras. It does however make some of them look spoiled and living in the OC bubble. Jeana the real estate lady is an aquaintance.

HB is full of dudes who wear arnettes and have nautical star & swallow tattoos all over them. Usually, people who were born elsewhere and end up there because it's the cheapest city near the beach in OC.

There are $35M homes in newport beach.

born and raised in newport. hell, my dad even went to NHHS. Newport Beach/Corona del Mar are the finest placest to live in the OC by a LONGSHOT.

There is huge money in real estate, mortgages, and insurance. All sales jobs ...where you earn income based on your determination and performance and their is no cap.
