Well it's the equivalent of someone calling a white guy or girl a irish person when he or she is english, so on and so fourth. I'm american but my parents are from Dominican Republic. I have heard this argument my whole life. It dosen't bother me though and I don't care lol.

It was funny in Costa Rica most of the girls were Columbian. They didn't get too mad but boy you ask a Nicaragian girl if she's a Teka (local) BAM huge attitude...lol We just fun with it though

Gotta say WP.. I like the people in Latin America (operating from Costa Rica now) - they are "genuine" and do try to help. That includes law enforcement - they don't have an "attitude" or bullshit and will do whatever to help - including getting covered in swamp mud. I've never seen a cop in North America or Europe get their hands too dirty.

If you really want to have fun you should go to Dominican Republic, I have a house in Santiago closer to the nothern shore. I get stupid when I'm down it's so much fun. I was there in Jan. I think I'm going to go back in june or july for like a week! I'm trying to get a group together to go down and raise hell for a week!!!!!!:thumbsup
