Do you mix milk with your scrambled eggs?
I tried it for the first time this morning and WOW! Makes them super moist and I'm hooked!
If you don't know what I'm talking about. When you beat your eggs in a bowl before scrambling them pour in a little bit of milk and beat it together. Then cook them. DELICIOUS!!! :thumbsup |
all the time.:thumbsup
Yeap i do that too. Even makes eggs in the microwave taste great:thumbsup
I use evaporated milk, it's even better.
Some say to use sour cream, I tried it but still prefer the evaporated milk. ...and a sploosh of tobasco. :D |

I might make another batch of eggs just to try the evaporated milk. :thumbsup |
Too much milk and you end up with french toast batter.

I use just a dab of tobasco, and when mixed with the eggs just adds a hint of spice, nothing more. I've tried the Louisiana hot sauce, it's good but not the right spicy flavor I look for. If it works for you, that's what you go with though. :D |

Just a couple of teaspoonfuls is usually enough. |
yes I do :)
Yes. I also throw in a slice of American cheese.
I used too but I didn't like it maybe I was using too much milk
damn you all are making me hungry!
i always try and add a little milk, it definitely helps. |
Wouldn't be the same without it
oh yes...defintely...delicioso!
Yep a tiny bit. Makes them more fluffy. Also use a tiny onion powder and garlic powder.
I havent tried scrambled eggs but I like omelettes. My fave way to make them is to use olive oil and cook it in really low heat and mix the yellow and white together, but i dont scramble it a bowl or anything, i also leave it whole so its in a circle... and the i'll add in some spinach leaves and let it cook for a few min.
Then add lots of tabasco sauce and black pepper, its real good with toast! I also love to boil eggs and chop them, then mix it with some mayo and SHALLOTS, yumm yumm and lots of pepper and cayenne. and eat it with toast. i love eggs! |
mix them with milk and use a whisk to fluffen them up!
That's how I was taught to make 'em.

Funny, I just had scrambled eggs with milk (soy) and I put some Sriracha on it when I was eating them... I put that stuff on everything I eat. I got hooked on it at Vietnamese restaurants. You can find it in the asian section at the grocery store. |
yes all the time.... yummy like that :winkwink:
yep, me too...always have. :thumbsup
Never, but I'll have to try it

I also didnt know other people put tobasco in their eggs, I thought I was the only one... I guess it's quite common.
Yes, and its delicious too :)
Yes, and it's perfect if you have your toasted bread paired on it. :pimp
It rocks with milk.
Mixing evaporated milk to scrambled egg? yeah me too, I' m doing that all the time.
If we have some I usually do. If not I don't notice big time difference.
also try putting a bit of EVOO in the pan, and throw some chopped up onions and mushrooms to simmer for 5 mins before you throw the eggs on, then add some red or cayanne pepper ... banging!
Sploge of milk, and a few shakes of salt with about 3 or 4 eggs. Wisk it up fry and eat. Only way to do it. :thumbsup
I watched a show on this before and all the top chefs said that water was better.
