Just tried asking (Andrew) for free account so I get access to their content so I can better promote their sites and the guy thinks I'm a surfer and refuses to provide "decent" affiliate support.

Not a good first contact...

Kareem hits me up on ICQ, I have no idea who he is and he asks me for a user and pass to our sites. He signed up last november and has not sent any traffic nor sales. I told him our policy was to send a few sales or have one of our current webmasters send a reference. So he decided to be immature and post a thread to make us look bad. Obviously he's got issues.

Do you have problems with every company you come in contact with? Good Lord. Andrew was very nice to you and was simply asking for further information and you gave him all sorts of attitude.

i don't randomly hand out members passes to our area either.

one of two things happens.

1) you send enough sales to warrant getting in.

2) another program owner or someone with a decent level of responsibility in that program gives a reference.

any program randomly handing out members passes without knowing who its going to is not taking care of their content.

i think that they are protecting their investment.

members area is a privelege not a right, i wish that people would get that in their head.

I don't know why you'd need members access at this point anyway, they have shitloads of free content already, especially if you are just starting promoting them.

It's pretty standard to ask for a reference or a few sales before they start handing out members area passes....

That is a policy I agree with. Webmasters who request a free pass should only get one, if they've proven they can send sales, or have good references from other sponsors.

but really... we have tons of content all cut up, compressed with screencaps avail in the affiliate area... we try to keep it current and we we have pic and vid sets for most of the girls.

I always ask for a un/pw to see the members' area. The reason I ask is because I like to see if the site is worth heavy promotion or moderate depending on the consistency of updates. I like to see if they have a full photo, video and webcam archive for the members.

The only three reasons I think I don't get access to review the members' area...
1.) They have a shitty members' area.
2.) They don't trust me.
3.) They think they are the only affiliate program on the Internet and don't meet their conditions.
a. You have only been an affiliate for a week.
b. You haven't sent more than 10 sales to our program.


Affiliate programs that gave me access have had great members' area and consistently get my traffic.

Affiliate that didn't give me access or just ignored me got no traffic.

The best example of affiliate support with automatic members' access to all their sites is HUNDIES.

Andrew is the man. He runs a tight ship and tight programme that converts.

When I ask for content I find out who the guys know and reference myself with people they know. I never go about it the way you did.

I did this with Andrew and he had no problem whatsoever having over a user and pass for me to promote his sites.
