My take.. Not gonna be Pickler. She's a country singer. I dont think we want an exact repeat of last years country winner.
Mandisa, I dont think so. I dont think she fits the "pop idol" mold, although she's a great singer.
Paris, maybe but I doubt it for the same reason. I have not seen Fantasia except once when I was clicking past Leno and she was on there.

Could be mcphee, but I think it's time for one of the men, and it'll be the grey haired guy or the other guy who is good (theres only 1 other good one, dont know the names).

One of the final 3, either Mandisa, Chris, or Katherine.

I think Mandisa is the strongest vocalist of the 3, but might not get the popular vote.

Chris is a bit too focused on the hard rock niche. He's outstanding at it, but again, that could be his downfall in the popular vote, by being so focused.

So even though I think she is the 3rd position as far as vocal skills, I think Katherine is going to win, because she has the best balance of all the ingredients, sexy star looks, sweet personality, strong vocals, wide range of song styles, and the all american look.

I don't know if it's true or not, but a friend of mine told me that Chris turned down an offer to be Fuel's new lead singer. I searched all over the 'net but couldn't find anything to back this rumor up. But, Paula told Chris the other night "You should already be out there touring", so it makes me wonder if there is some truth to this rumor.

He sang Hemorrage way better than Fuel has ever performed it. I would not be surprised at all.

Even if Chris doesn't win because he is a rocker, his future is assured. He should win, 'cause Simon said it best. He's the one who doesn't compromise.....just by taking a very old country song, Walk the Line and turning it into something very different makes him a star.

I think Mandisa should win, but because she is heavy, she won't..too bad. That girl has a hella range and a fabulous voice...she can sing anything....I also think she will get picked up by a label, too, regardless of the outcome.

McFever will probably win and she's very well rounded, has star quality, the looks, and she does have the voice.....

Well the majority (not all) of the worlds entertainment sucks big time. Fucking reality shows are the stuppidest thing ever invented. Sorry to take it out on you, but I just freaking hate them.

There's an audience for every type of show that's out there, if there wasn't, these shows wouldn't exist. So, since you hate these 'reality' shows, why come in here and bash those of us that apparently enjoy this show? Do like everyone else that hates them - change the freaking channel. :2 cents:

to me, a reality show is just a contest, and since we have contests constantly in real life, why not video tape them and make them entertainment for the masses? shit, nascar is a contest and it is televised, and while you and I may not like it, it is a reality show about car racing...same with football/baseball, etc

well, I also find it fun to sit and light my lighter over and over again to watch the flame appear and disappear...it may not be entertainment, but it sure does pass the time

and I think a lot of these shows are fun for passing time, but to be honest, if something better came along I think rating would dive on most shows

You got me. I critize more than I enjoy. But that's just the way I am. I know that there are good movies out there, you have to admit that 85% of them are pure crap, and everytime it gets worse.

As for TV, well...

He's already won, even if he doesn't win idol. Guaranteed, there are record labels lined out the door ready to sign him.
