Webmasters...How did you get into adult?

I kind of stumbled upon it by contacting a webmaster about a site that was for sale (just lucky that it was a genuine webmaster/site).

heard about it from a friend of a friend of a friend.

I was an avid surfer and I had some friends who were making money with Adult Check so I gave it a try and it just took off from there.

came across gfy, ran into a webmaster here who took me under his wing back in 2001.

Was back in '99, I kinda stumbled upon it. Started out with Sexkey and sexshare freehost :thumbsup

Doctor Dre got me into it. He said I could quickly become one of the industrie's best video editors.

He was right on the money :)

Was on the run from someone that wanted to kill me in 2000 and ended up in LA....my wife and got married in vegas on the way out there :)

We couldn't find work for 6 months, until we finally answered an ad in the back of the LA weekly asking "figure models and open minded couples wanted"

we went and it was Jim South's office...they asked if we would have sex on camera, and we said hell yeah

we made about $30-40k those first few months

I was a surfer who went to thumbzilla.com daily to jerk off to fat ugly women. but the fat chicks weren't fat at all... the amateurs were old hat. I thought I could build a better tgp than anyone. I couldn't get traffic to it, so I started submitting galleries.

It's what I always dreamed of doing since I was just a little Aly.

I needed a hobby and a way to kill some time

My story started with Steve Lightspeed, long before anyone knew who he was. He had a small freesite geared towards the Cheerleader thing. I emailed him about something, asking about a picture or something, and happened to mention that I would love to make web pages. He emailed me right back and told me what I needed as far as software and hosting. I had a simple web page up that first night.

I made a handful of free sites, mostly in the Bikini niche, and opened up a small web page business creating web pages for a small handful of clients. Steve Lightspeed and I keep in touch through the years; He gave me free hosting and I made a few websites for him. He opened up his own program, and right after I graduated college he offered me a job.

True story.

...I was, uhm how should I put this...a very bad individual who ran a group all about free porn and making aol users' lives horrible for them online. Well, I started a group site with a little tgp on it once I found out you could actually make money from sending people to look at porn (ya I didn't really pay much attention to business at the time; this was 1996). And, well, needless to say it started making me money. I ditched that old handle and online life of mine a few years ago and haven't looked back. :2 cents:

I needed lunch money.

B a friend got me into it.
I knew a lady that was doing adult on the side.
she introduced me and I started it as a hobby.
