I thought it would make a really neat pool house, but I was wondering about hooking up the shitter and electrics. You can't just flush the toilet on the roof of a building, and I certainly wouldn't do it on my lawn.

As the site actually says. It would require the "roof top" or other location to have utility lines ran or available.
Basicly would work the same as an RV hookup. You would hook up septic and a fresh water line, then plug in to an electical source.

Its not the type of house you drop in your suburban area.. its something you buy to get excited about.. like a ferrari for others... its rather impractical you can't drive it very far...you just feel cool when you buy one.

I would imagine it would be cargo'd on a ship across the atlantic then trucked to where it would need to go before it went airborne.

Reminds me of the idea of turning old shipping containers into homes. Its about innovation and you cant help but appreciate it.Its about modern living and saving space with technology. If its a "glorified trailer" then I would much rather see many of these then a typical trailer park.

Looks like a box thrown together by a bunch of guys who have never done anything like this before.

I realize it's a new concept, but I'm not sure I'd want to be the guy that finds out these cubes don't hold up in gale force winds or that the roof leaks ever time it rains. At least the rock floor wil dry quickly.
