because governments don't give a fuck about you beyond pay your taxes and go fight a war in some place you never even heard of.

Presidents don't need to fight wars, they've got Jack Bauer to do that for them.

If Presidents went to war, they might get killed and not able to spend all the money they make supplying the army with arms.

We need systems where we have 2 leaders... one smart, one strong... the smart ones make the decisions, such as going to war.

When one system goes to war with the other system, they each send their strong leader into the octagon and fight it out. Who ever wins the fight wins the war.

At most you'd get one death.. and it would be a leader. No one else.
