Ok guys, I need a logo for Redeyepoker.co.uk - $150 to the winner, and the usual possibility of ongoing work as and when needed.

The name pretty much speaks for itself guys, so have fun. The only stipulation is that it would need to work on both red and white backgrounds.

We will choose a winner by end of play Monday 30th.

I have to say it to be of poor taste to throw that URL in a contest thread.

I will be submitting my entries to this thread later this evening.

i don't know why you would say that, i have been entering contests on GFY for a long time, just thought it would be a good idea, i signed up to the site and it runs good and you do not have to worry about the contest starter not paying, they pay the money into escrow first, that way everything is legit.

Not saying that he wouldn't pay but how many designers have been burned on here??

That gives you no right to hijack a contest thread and spam that bullshit. I will probably go there and enter into a few contests myself, it is a good idea... but there is no need to drop it in a contest thread, pure bullshit. And for no other reason than to send him off when there may or may not be designers already working on his project.

That's statement is just silly. if a person had no idea he could have a secure marketplace for his contests, and this would give him a chance, as well as security for the designers to participate in his contests, this is a great thing.

It was in no way spam, especially since he's not affiliated with our program!

He didn't say to MOVE the contest, but actually try out the system, and see if it works better then a single forum.

AdultX, thanks for the referral! We appreciate it, and i am sure other designers would too, knowing they would get paid securely for work a contest, should they win it.

We welcome people to post a contest, in ADC, and advertise it on other forums, it only makes sense, that they get more entries and better results.

So there is no bad tase from AdultX whatsoever.

Of course you welcome others to post their contests on OTHER forums, it is FREE advertising for you, but I believe you should not try to take away the fun of GFY having contests by posting your url in contest threads...

Exactly. And I would like to add that there have been numerous (read: alot) fake contests where designers where left in the cold. AdultDesignContest is a concept that eliminates fake contests because the contest runner will need to pay the money up front into some sort of escrow account.

Ugh ? what the hell are you talking about ? It's not really direct competition... putting money in escrow is just better. Envision offers a better service period. There is no system in GFY for design contests ...

I am being told in another contest on GFY that they cannot see my designs for that contest for some reason, and i want to make sure you can see mine before you pick the winner, if not please let me know ASAP!
