Every fucking newbie in the world pushes ARS

me either...using targetted, filtered, prequalified FPA traffic...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm:uhoh

1:90 here ,any problems i usually call them up in Vegas and they situate things pretty quickly.
I have some super qualified traffic for Voyeur Dorm that does 1:90 consistently and I used ARS...I noticed that Fantasyman pays 5 bucks more per SU so i switched all my codes from ARS to FMP gave it a week and coverted 0/3000...i dont know if it was the FMP tour or what but i switched them back to ARS and 5 mins later Su's started up again....dont know if it was shaving or what but ARS has been good by me.

I used to be shit at converting now I am at a constant 1:450 :thumbsup

I have no idea whats up...I was a steady 1:100-150 for months...then all a sudden, everything goes to the shitter.

I use the same method of advertising for other sponsors and they are currently 1:50-1:150

1/500 here. Anyone who converts at 1/7000 couldnt market a glass of water to a thirsty man.

On some of their sites im converting under 1/100

i used to convert good with adult movie station. then it just went to shit and i've yet to have a decent ratio with that site.

The last week of the year I had a gallery listed on The Hun promoting All Petite and had 15 signups. I created my own tour and sent the filtered traffic direct to the join page.

Last month, I had a similar gallery listed on The Hun linked to the same tour... ARS showed ZERO signups.

I bailed from ARS.

Ars is wierd like that. You either love it or hate it!!!!! I love them.

way too overpromoted.... but the new sites they keep adding make up for that... I don't get how allpetite can stay the (one of) most selling site for more than a year now... ARS was a program that EVERYBODY pushed a year ago... now, ppl have a lot of similar programs to choose from, so the conversions should have gone up...

Post what sites you guys are getting those ratios with.. I'm sure it has something to do with it. All Petite for example, is DEFINATLY over-advertised.. every surfer and his brother has seen a few AP ads. But they have like 60+ sites, so there are a few others in there which would convert much better..

Part of ARS's problem is Ibill I think, just check out the ARS forums. Lots of people posting one week how they dropped from 60 su's per week to like 5 to 10.. not just one person, but quite a few.. nothing should make it drop like that in just a week.

For the last 3 months I´ve been doing 1:500-600 execpt for the 2 weeks where I at 1:3000 :(
But overall I love them ;)

I cant convert ARS with TGP traffic...yet my other sponsors are fine with TGP.
But ARS does extremely well with SE traffic. I guess the TGP surfers have seen it all before.

What about Maxcash...I get 1:90 for most of my sponsors but maxcash i send the same type of traffic and its like 1:2000...anyone do well with these guys?

Out of all of ARS' sites I promote AllPetite exclusively and for March my ratio was 1:70

For April so far it's 1:157 (was higher but continues to drop and will drop consistently until the endof the month) but the only reason it's that high...
it's not because of Ibill, it's not because of Jettis...it's not because Mard De's signup monkey was out eating banannas it's because my hosting gave me a bunch of shit around the end of last month and I had to change hosting...so my archived galleries and fpas were up and down.

I don't think there's some big conspiracy...all these companies ARS, IBILL etc make money by us making sales. It is not in their best interest to fuck over webmasters. Not saying it has NEVER happened but it is unlikely.

I solved my problems by studying and analyzing any and every gallery I could find and I began to see patterns in so called successful galleries.

I also had friends continuously critique my templates etc until I found a style that not only made the tgp owners happy but sent surfers to my fpa.

Anyway since I started doing this I have seen my sales increase steadily since February.

I think it all boils down to change. Try to keep things fresh...and with ars you can do that by using fpas.

My fpas change weekly...I don't want the surfer getting used to seeing the same old content over and over...that's the whole idea of using your own fpa.

ARS and tgp traffic always fluctuates for me..

SO if ARS sux for tgp traffic - who is better to use (big programs)

I still make good sales with ARS it's TopBucks & trafficcashgold that don't work for me. TrafficCahGold I can understand they shave but Topbucks wel maybe they do to (0:800) isn't as bad as your shitty conversion but still pretty bad.

So, I cant believe for a minute that there isnt people out there who think of affiliats as a trafic source for their popups instead of for making signups on thier sites.

Of coarse the smart ones would throw out some bones once in a while to keep em guessing.

ARS can be very inconsistent with signups - but overall I'm pleased.

I'd have to vote 'none of the above' though I do agree with the pole. the reason they're responsible for those low conversions is that people learn who they are...

Surfers are not stupid. Some people here seem to think they are though, but how often would you click on a banner when you know that clicking it will get in a loop of advertising consoles? And give an honest answer please! I'm pretty sure you will not click anymore. Why do people here assume that surfers will continue clicking then? I don't get it.

Your theory works if people are complaining about declining clicks. However, this thread is about declining ratios. That means that people are clicking, they just aren't buying. My theory of you giving away our product as a helpful cause in lower sales productivity is much more logical.

I guess we just see 2 different ends of the spectrum. You look to be 'respectful' to our possible customers by giving them stuff and I see trying to get them to purchase something. We offer consoles give to give more choices and to make the traffic more productive. Consoles actually INCREASE sales...

Everyone seems to forget that part of the resposibilty for the sale falls on the sponser...if a sponser can't convert your traffic, then you need a new sponser.
If you're sending bullshit traffic, ie: blind clicks and such, then expect low conversions from all sponsers..but if you send qualified traffic, surfers that click sponser links (and they know it's a sponser link) then it's up to the sponser to convert that sale.

I think you're confused...almost every grocery store has them old farts standing around handing out free samples, and if you like what you try...you buy it.

umm, confused again...if the clicks are qualified, then it's on you and your programmers to close the sale. The commercial gets the customer to your door..what you do next is up to you.

Exactly, a small slice=free sample...just like galleries at the Hun=free samples...there's no full length movies. Sure he gets some really good galleries, but they still only qualify as free samples.

Umm.. I think there's no such store that offers so many samples that you're all full and won't buy anything.. But hey! You can go back the next day and eat some more free samles, after all the store gets them for free from distrubutors that get them from free from the providers. Get my point?

The Hun: Your method of salesmanship is much like that of the resteraunt business (which I have much experience), where you attempt to give the visitor a great fresh experience on every visit to keep them comming back for more. You probably make the majority of your income from paid advertising spots were joins and ratios don't really apply becuase you will get your money regardless. Due to your impressive volume of visitors, keeping them comming back usually requires that you give them the best porn (hardcore, movies, you name it) on the net with as little bullshit as possible. Thats how you make your money and in your shoes, I'd probably do the same. But, Marc has a valid point about your business and its affect on the industry. If joe surfer knows he can get it for free, he will not pay.

You can say that you can offer the surfer something he cannot find anywhere else and you will make a sale (the goal of every gallery submitted to your site), but with loads of quality paysite quality pornography dished out everyday for free, with no hassles involved, in every niche you can imagine...How can you expect others to make substantial profit without the use of things like consoles, etc?

Prime example: I've heard many stories of the old adult internet where money was made with relative ease and minimal advertising expertise. Nearly all of the major players claim the same thing about this time in the biz..."well..the surfer really had no were else to get it, or there was too much bs involved for them to get it without purchasing a membership." Compare that with how things are now and you can see that the majority of porn surfers know that if they try, they can find exactly what they are looking for without any price attachments or popup hells. This is attributed to not just The Hun.net, but every site out there trying to emulate your success.

Your style of business is great for you, but how does it contribute to the long term success of this industry as a whole?

giving away so much free porn is worse for the industry than the consoles ars has. the consoles aren't too bad, at least they don't crash ur browser. only a couple exit consoles anyways plus the small enter.

surfers are hit with consoles on a shitload of non-adult sites. as long as its not a zillion pop ups or funky change ur homepage crap the surfer is use to it.

ya but if the surfer is looking for pics, he can get all he wants at a tgp. there's enough slices to feed the whole block

Hehe, of course he won't change. The industry has spiraled into a hole where TGP is the norm that it will NEVER recover from. Becuase there will always be someone willing to post anything and everything to get the traffic, and someone else to submit it to get a piece of that traffic. I don't look for things to get better in this industry, I KNOW it will only get worse.
