For those that listented to the President's speech
...lets us have a critique please. BTW...calling the President a moron...idiot...etc...does not qualify as a critique of his speech.
|
I didn't bother to listen...George W. Bush is a moron. I can pretty much summarize how it went however, as I have listened to enough of his rabble that I know it by heart.
"We will not yield to the voice of terror. The evil doers don't like the freedoms of the world...and they'll do anything to take that away. We won't let that happen. Bin Laden and Saddam were best buddies and often had tea and crumpets together while burning a few children's corpses. The ties between Al Quaeda and Iraq are very strong. Iraq was a training ground for Al Quaeda. Saddam was seeking weapons of mass destruction and by eliminating him, we saved the world you ungrateful bastards...yeehaw...and god bless..." Same old shit pretty much eh? |

ive had enough of bush. Once in a while i looked at a speech of him and laughed about his lies, his extreme bible thumping texts and his illiteracy, but that is getting old now too.. i don't care anymore, even he can't fuck things up any more severe then it already is.

Didnt catch it, although in all honesty, if the speech was the only thing on TV I would turn on a DVD til it was over.
Let me guess, he probably said that Iraq was the center of all terrorism in the world right? Which is true, but only since we invaded that country and turned on the Jihad party light in Baghdad. |

Be honest ... you listened to it ... :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh Quote:
BTW, his last allusion, he forgets to say that US soldiers were distributing and that the attack was directed to them ( 2 soldiers died, others wounded ...). The Pentagon would have called those civilians dead " collateral damage" .... |

Ever heard of backspace? Spell check? Double check? Preview Post? If you can't handle someone else's point of view, then feel free to aim straight for their education or drug habits. Makes you seem like the big man. Especially when you come right back with simple errors. Cause yeah... that makes you seem even smarter. :1orglaugh |

Did someone tell you I'm fat? I've noticed that's your new pet insult, usually you repeat them over and over and over again... calling me fat is more inventive than your usual dullard retort, unfortunately for you it's not true. I'm in excellent physical condition. |
Why does everyone act like Bush is telling lies all the time?
Like most politicians, he hardly ever says anything that actually means anything at all. |

Is this "theking" character trying to argue that Bush isn't a religious fanatic?
Wow, I guess I was correct to question his mental state in a previous thread. What a fucking lunatic. Scary that there are people like this walking around with the rest of us. |

Whether going into Iraq was the right thing to do is a matter of opinion.
One thing I KNOW, is that the worst thing the U.S. could possibly do is to pull out at this point in time. The Iraqi's would not only lose the country again, but any and all pro-American sentiment that has been built up, would be buried forever. Most of the world would have a hard time believing in U.S. convictions ever again, if they bailed now. THAT would be a recipe for even more terrorists attacks. |

It doesnt take much to guess what was going to be said, its the same rhetoric that was being used leading up to the war, after the war broke and then after "Mission Accomplished". I really get a kick out of how all of Bush's speeches these days seem to be taking place at military locations. I guess he can be relatively assured of a docile audience. |

He's a true conservative. Had everything handed to him and every sin forgiven including going AWOL in a time of war, but gets away with pretending to be a cowboy because conservatives really aren't discerning enough to tell the difference between a rich kid and a genuine cowpoke. |

I don't even know where to start on 'ol George Dubya. He is, from my personal historical view, the absolute WORST President of my lifetime and I've been around since Eishenhower. He makes what Nixon did seem like school yard pranks.
Congress is starting to seriously stir about getting our asses out of that quagmire soon. Remember when that asshole stood onboard that aircraft carrier in 2003 and declared Mission Accomplished. Really?! Two plus years later and 2000 plus Americans dead and counting and we're still there, severely undermanned, underequipped and without a real exit strategy. Please don't speak about this man's Ivy League background. A C student at best and that was made possible by dear 'ol Dad, not from George hitting the books. Everything this man has touched has turned to shit. All of his businesses have failed. Yes, all presidents have made errors or have not acted the way some of us would have hoped. This one disappoints and blunders on so many levels it's hard to list. And great Presidents, I, for one, believe the guy we had in office for 8 years prior to Bush was truly one of the great leaders we've had in the past 100 years. And he was a Rhodes scholar who went to Oxford. BTW University of Florida graduate, BS in Journalism as long as we're qualifying here. |

in our presidents case - defense contracts, oil, enron type deals,"fund raisers"...things like that) on the other hand, our "enemy" does the same thing but profits from heroin, cocaine, weapons trade etc. |
I can't wait to we get a democrat in office - that way we can ALL be so fucking amazed
lol |
