We will never win over terrorism in the middle east ,these people have been fighting each other for 1000's of years to think we are going to end that is stupid. You want to stop terrorism its easy give them lots of employment. When people have things to lose, they arent so quick to strap bombs on themselves or support those actions.

Here are some direct quotes from your "Yale MBA Grad": "I know how hard it is for you to put food on your family." "More and more of our imports come from overseas." "Rarely is the questioned asked: Is our children learning?" "I know what I believe. I will continue to articulate what I believe and what I believe ? I believe what I believe is right." "I want to thank the astronauts who are with us, the courageous spacial entrepreneurs who set such a wonderful example for the young of our country." "I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully." "There's an old saying in Tennessee ? I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee ? that says, Fool me once, shame on ? shame on you. Fool me ? you can't get fooled again." |

We would literally have to go over there and change entire governments to change the way of life - things like employment and education. |

Hey Kenny, we DID have a democrat in office. He balanced the budget, gave us a surplus, brought peace to Ireland and Kosovo and was in the process of settling the issues in the Middle East. He brought himself up from absolute poverty and became a Rhodes Scholar at an Ivy League institution, which he had to EARN admission to, unlike spoiled brat Georgie. He liked blowjobs though, so he was no good to conservatives like theking. |

Not to mention he also sold sensitive weapons technology to China |

Check out the difference between JFK's war record and Bush's. Ever heard of PT109? |
I can balance the budget too if you let me cut the military in half and sell stealth technology to the highest bidder - lol

Peggy Noonan was interviewed on the Daily show last night and even though she's a staunch Republican, she didn't have anything nice to say about the President.

Be proud of who you are, quit trying to hide it, because you're not really fooling anyone in the first place. Find anyone to talk to you at a convention yet? |

6 BILLION a MONTH to keep our troops in Iraq. Mid January FEMA will no longer pay for those displaced by hurricane Katrina. Yep, he's a great president. |

I can't stand Bush, but when people make up shit about him, I'll point it out. That certainly doesn't make me a Bush supporter. Objective, yes. My feeling is that there's enough out there that he REALLY fucked up with that we don't need to make things up or distort the truth. |

I mean say if we moved them all to North Carolina and Florida. I've always wondered about that. Same thing with Jets and Aircraft carriers they aren't exactly setting under a tarp waiting for a war. |

I liked Clinton, but I seriously doubt all that. Clinton is an elite just like the Bush's. Poor boys from Arkansas don't meet Presidents (JFK) and become Rhodes Scholars. I suspect he was the bastard son of Lawrence Rockefeller or someone similar. |

You know what. I dont have an MBA from an Ivy League school, but I can get one in about 45 min. And you wont be able to tell the difference between them. On top of that, he bought his. |
PS King. Why defend him?

Going there now to get them to sign a confession .... Oh shit, they blew themselves up .... can't get that .... So it's false .... Amazing how onn the other hand no proof is needed to invade a country ... What motivates such an idiotic policy? The U.S. gets credit for giving out toys, and if insurgents attack U.S. soldiers they get blame for killing kids. It's win-win! Except that children get killed. My brother said the military was using the kids as human shields. Now go do a " lewinsky" to your president ... |

Baah! Typical King thread! :1orglaugh
As though it matter a toss what Bush says. What Bush says and what Bush does are two totally different things. He loves talking the talk and sometimes does that coherently. *Any* elected leader of the western world has more cred and background qualification than the Texas moron allegedly elected to lead the "most powerful country" - sheesh, that's a sad thought. :( That "idiot" and "moron" will continue to screw the US till the end of his term and get that nation into deeper shit (like it ain't already?) than it has ever been - another sad thought :( |

Ya can't "win" against people who have spent centuries defending themselves and use whatever strategies to achieve their ends. It was only recently they pushed back Russian forces inflicting serious casualties - then move to the hills and get ready for the next assault. You ever see footage a few years back of em fighting in Afghanistan? Hell.. no way can "conventional armies" stand a chance. They have no hesitation flying low in copters at night talking bullet rounds from the ground - they just don't give a shit. Some know they are going to die in a skirmish, but accept that's what they have to do. Most likely, it's these same people we now brand "terrorists". What are they? Sheep farmers. Some of their "projects" (between taking bullet rounds) include building school desks for their local schools and trying to educate their families. They are no different to anyone else in other countries. With the exception of a minority of those who can be described as "extreme", they just want left alone and have peace to live their lives the way they want without external interference. They have their own culture going back 1000's of years and ain't interested in some tinpot ideas others may want to thrust on em. It may not be the "modern" thing to do, but in several ways, ya gotta respect your "enemy" and not assume an arrogance with ideas they are inferior. Who knows in Iraq, but suspect the current occupation will end up the same as all the others and the "invaders" will depart once more, leaving them to clean up the mess - once more. |

And by the way, the education level in the US is overall lower and easier to do then around here; i got this from peeps who first went to college here and later in the US. Happy? For your other points, see everyone elses posts for the details, or just line up all the facts and use common sense instead of trying to obsesively defend your government, its sick. Are you on their payroll or something? |
