It's a nice day here in middle TN, but because I'm still supposed to be on bedrest, no going out for me tonight. :( Much suckage. But at least I feel better, and that's the main thing.

I've had it pierced for about a little under 2 months

i took some asprin and washed my mouth out with mouthwash, dunno what else to do but wait til the swelling can go down.

Careful with aspirin - blood thinning can be an issue. I would suggest an anti-inflammatory like tylenol.

Taking the ring out can be a problem as well - leave it in! Try a popsicle or something cold to help reduce the swelling. An ice pack can help.

Did you pull it maybe? Sometimes that happens during sleep.
