It looks like a hybrid between a jeep TJ and a land rover.... Really interesting design...

Damn Ugly, but the traction control on the mercedes is amazing

yeah the car is ugly as hell, but the point of producing that car is not how it looks. That car is very special, safe and number 1 in its class (there are not many cars in its class though, 2 or 3 I guess)

I had a Disco II before my Denali. It was okay (I wouldn't buy another one).. then I totalled it on the Bay Bridge.. anyone remember the day about 12 months ago when the Bay Breidge was closed for 10 hours.. you can thank the asshole that hit me and about 12 other cars in the tunnel for that.

This asswipe wasn't paying attention to the road and was watching a tow-truck clear a stalled car off the bridge.. He was going about 70 and didn't notice the traffic was comming to a stand still in the tunnel. The rest is history.. and so was my Disco II.

Lens if you were really a pimp you'd have gotten the the AMG version...or the 6 liter Brabus.

Once again your mercedes rocks... I saw one here in montreal and thouht it was an old model but I guess they are new! It's a kick ass jeep.
I like range rovers but I heard too much bad stuff about those cars.

Merc is bling bling but the Land Rover is better.... and if i had your cash i would buy a Hummer

I got a fully loaded Durango R/T, and I love it . Drove a DiscoII for the longest time , and must say that the one I had was a dream to drive.

The wheelbase of the Disco was Ideal in winter conditions and it hauled 7 at a time.

But as far as domastic goes I think the durango R/T handles the best.

Lens the "Gelendewagen" is a rugged piece of metal with a lot of the bling bling. GOOD CHOICE.

Fuckin SWEET...almost bought one of those Lensmen....they do set you back a bit though...

Instead I bought a Landrover Defender 110.....and just painted it silver....looks basically the same as the G500

And I can take the same grades as you!!!! although yours is prettier inside I bet.

Exactly. That car is engineered for performance, not looks. It will probably last longer than any other SUV..

I hate SUV's every fuckin mofo and soccer mom in seattle has one and I can't fucking stand them.

No offense lenny, that's a beautiful car... I like your others better.... but my personal thing on SUV's is that i've been run out of my lanes by so many dipshits driving them here that they drive me nuts!

IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT:

1.) SUV'S ARE NOT ANY BETTER IN ACCIDENTS

2.) THEY DONT' HANDLE FOR SHIT IN RAIN OR SNOW

3.) THEY ROLL SUPER EASY

honestly? (and brettJ can confirm this) ... every time I see a wrecked SUV a cry out "I hope the fuckin owner died!!"

yes... there are issues that run deeper ... has to do with my big brother shoving a toy SUV up my ass when I was a kid... long story on that .. involving a joystick, olive oil, several feet of barbed wire, and 3 geese.:eek7

being tippy depends on the SUV, hummers arn't noted for that, only preppy mobiles.

well, yeah .. but a hummer isn't exactly an SUV ... it's more of a penis with wheels :-D
