Damn TGP Bullshit
 

I fired my last TGP guy - too many reasons to list.
Since Im an involved webmaster I figured I would take a shot a doing them myself. What the hell, add it to the list of headaches I already deal with, right ?

So I build some templates and get submitting....
One template has recips for TheHun and WorldSex on the same page. I submit it to WorldSex with no problem. I then submit it to TheHun and I get a message that says

"...Please remove all links to worldsex and cindysex from your page before you submit to the Yellow Pages. I don't mind competition, but this guy owes me money. In 1999 they
advertised on the Yellow Pages for a month. After the advertising-period was over they decided to charge back all money. When I called him about it to ask what was up he
started threatening me. He grew up in Amsterdam and 'knew some friends that could help him'... I will not send traffic to a gallery with a link to a guy like this, sorry... "

Now I agree with most everything thehun does but this sucks balls. I cant remove any link because WorldSex will drop the submission and Im guessing WorldSex wont accept any galleries from thehun either but I cant be sure. Now I have to sit on this gallery and see if it does anything with WorldSex. What a waste of my time.

Nobody wins when you mix personal problems with busines. I was talking to worldsex about advertising but thats not going to happen now because it appears he isnt paying his bills. Im also going to think twice about TheHun submissions because I dont like wasting my time on this bullshit. You would think using one recip per page would solve the problem but some TGPs want to see other TGP recips so they know they are getting cross traffic.

I cant keep up with the fucking politics of it all. I have over 10,000 photos ready for submission and at this point Im looking for newbie TGPs or maybe I will start my own. The shit is nuts guys, if you want to do this stuff keep a running list of your politics next to your rules page or something.

Worldsex no longer belongs to the original owner. It was sold last year, so maybe The Hun has to review his policy?

change the gallery
if you are not listed you don't have problem

hahahar tgp webmasters and their egos..
they have better designs than some paysites, offer 100's of galleries in their "archives" and wonder why they dont make money :1orglaugh

just submit to hun without any recip or perhaps, if you like to lose sign-ups, with a small backlink on the bottom.

on a side note.. maybe you dont want to "waste" those pics on tgps but actually make money with it?
freesites, avs, turnkeysites, paysites from scratch.. endless possibilities.

gotys is my 16th biggest referrer and sends a fair amount of decent traffic. i've made good numbers off of it anyway. :Graucho

I dont really care about it, just pisses me off if somebody continues to complain about a situation he is responsible for.

Simple solution... Forget about that gallery being listed on the hun.

Next time you make a gallery for the hun use another recip instead. It is not really an issue.
Don't remove the worldsex recip to make the hun happy on that gallery. Just re-submit the gallery without worldsex recip.

Why not just find another site where it doesnt matter ? Ya know what I mean ? I dont want to keep a log of who is friends with who. Its easier to just not submit there...

BTW, I talked to Pierre at WorldSex and he was a real nice guy.
TheHun has always been good too but his enemies are not mine.

I do all that except the AVS sites - which I would do if I could find the right person to run them. its hard finding someone who isnt a crook that you can count on.

Just remember the hun does not want a worldsex recip. Its a non-issue. I wonder why the orginal owner of worldsex would need to stiff the hun?

He had 800,000K hits for the longest time, now its over 1M. With that much traffic you would be rich.
It doesn't make sense.

Now that WorldSex said they will accept my gallery even though thehuns banner is on it too - its a non-issue. According to WorldSex thehun doesnt believe they are a new owner of the site. I will just not put any recips on Hun gallerys anymore.. kinda fucking stupid though.

What's really fucking sad is idiots like sleepy who don't realize that the SAME advertising agency ( cybercat.com ) handles the ads for both the hun and worldsex. If you were really interested in buying ads on either thehun or worldsex you would have known that and not pretended that you were going to be buying ads in some vain attempt to make yourself look like a real player.

Why do people get their panties in a bunch of TGP submit rules?
Now you are pissing with SD. Think about it. If you really annoy him, he might contact his friends, and ask that they find a way to decline your gallery submissions. That would suck, wouldn't it?

I think you should hire another guy to handle your TGP submits asap. If you were familiar with the TGP business, this thread would never have started.
