What would you invest in if you had about $350k ??

Imagine you had about $350k, what would you invest it in which makes you feel would be profitable?

Property is always good.
Payday advance companies are also good winners.
That could also be used for approx 150+ dvd porn movies, and we always make a good return on our movies.

Peaches 10-20-2005 11:35 AM

Real estate, check cashing service, payday loans, liquor stores near the next place FEMA gives debit cards away.

QualityMpegs 10-20-2005 11:36 AM

waffles, put it all in tasty waffles!

EroticySteve 10-20-2005 11:39 AM

I have given it thought and I've decided not to post my idea here. It's too good and it would make anyone very wealthy, very quickly.

I'd invest in a diversified set of medium-aggressive funds in varying degrees between value - blend -growth.

At least that's what the 401k is showing.

strobi 10-20-2005 12:23 PM

Everything you know best. So maybe your bussiness. Real estate is never a bad move, even for the noob (at least if you have long term goals). Try to use other peoples money! (So I would certainly not choose something boring like stocks/bonds).

LOL do what you want, look at everyone throwing out their ideas, ask how many of them actually do what they recommended?

DaddyHalbucks 10-20-2005 02:00 PM

I wouldn't touch real estate with a ten foot pole. And I am a former RE broker.

I'd buy domains. I'd partner with someone who is a domain expert to buy some undervalued blue chip domains. There are plenty, if you know where to look. They kick off great cash flow, and they will appreciate even more than RE.

It's all relative to what your idea of what you want to build is.

I'm not talking about a huge big time type restaurant. I'm talking like a nice little place - maybe a chinese place, greek food, small bbq joint - something of that nature. It can be accomplished for ALOT less than $350k.

BTW, mcdonalds franchises are the worst franchises to "invest" in.
