Living in Orange County is great because your close to the LA scene, and Vegas... without having to be constantly in the middle of it. Orange County has its own clubs and entertainment also... Good people, beautiful surroundings... best of everything imo.

Spunky 10-01-2005 07:26 PM

Alaska..the scenery is unbelievable

i was born here in Newport Beach, 30.5 years ago and Im still here. I tried to split for a few years up to Berkeley, CA, but i had no clue what to do with all my money so i had to move back down here to figure out how to spend it all.

"The OC" is in southern california.

seeric 10-01-2005 07:35 PM

tony286 10-01-2005 07:37 PM

the first question would be what is it exactly you do for a living?

thewebgarage 10-01-2005 07:37 PM

If your in the biz you can work from anywhere. Why not look for a city that doesnt have inflated realestate prices and buy your self a little place. Cali, vegas, florida I wouldnt buy realestate in those areas.

seeric 10-01-2005 07:37 PM

You are an international type of guy, why not Move to Miami. Lots of the industry is there.

$5 submissions 10-01-2005 07:56 PM

Try Lake Tahoe NV. Nice climate. No state taxes (last time I checked--would be sad if this changed :( )

Stats for each city in California

KRL 10-01-2005 08:05 PM

I can't see you being happy in San Diego, or OC. LA has the action. But LA has a lot of downsides like shitty air, earthquakes, crowds, traffic jams, etc.

The place where you'll find a lot of ex New Yorkers is South Florida. Plus its a quick flight back up to NYC anytime you get homesick.

I've been all over the US and South Florida is the closest to NYC in terms of being a cosmopolitan international hip city to live and work in.

Since you like the club scene after NYC, only LA, Vegas and South Beach come close to that lifestyle of all night clubbing.

The only part of LA that is great is the West Side and the Hollywood Hills.

I was looking in LA and such. Only issue is that i have alot of family there. Its not that i dont like em and such , its just I dont want to be around anyone related to me any longer and such. Vegas is a option. South Beach is a nice place. I also know a guy down there thats into the club scene n such.

TBH i have no clue. I might do some traveling to certain cities in coming months and see what "makes me tingle" and such

jonesy 10-01-2005 10:48 PM
