California.. San Francisco.

Or Europe.

I've never lived in CA, but always liked it just so expensive ...

I have lived in Vegas and Arizona though ... both VERY hot. And I mean hot, everyone will say it's a dry eat, fuck that. It's hot.

However, Juicy, you are single and even if you were engaged or married --pretty much if you don't have kids-- Vegas hands down is the coolest place to live. We loved it, the reason we moved was due to the kids. Vegas is sooooooo much fun. The traffic absolutely sucks, but you learn to get around it. And as you know, Vegas has EVERYTHING anytime you want it.

I moved from Vegas back down to AZ and it was a readjustment because you have to try and get use to everything not being open 24/7. But Arizona is similar to Vegas but more relaxing. Lots of good food and good people in both places. : )

We are moving to Denver next Friday ... whoo-hoo! Ski season here I come!!

You know the best solution might be to just pick up a condo down in South Florida, one in Vegas, and one in Florida and just hop around to your pads when you get bored with one.

:1orglaugh :thumbsup

Tempe/Scottsdale AZ gives you a lot of bang for your buck and its home to some of the hottest women in the country. The male competition is extremely docile. Big change coming from Chicago. Its odd chilling in a bar full of gorgeous women and less than 10% of the guys there are even WILLING to fight, much less be instigators. Been here 3 years, only 1 major altercation and he deserved it. :winkwink: The bars and clubs are high end in Scottsdale. No good fast food tho. The summer heat is nothing to bear vs. the New York winter. Traffic is not an issue. Parking is everywhere. AND ITS SUNNY EVERY FUCKING DAY!!!

webair 10-02-2005 08:47 AM

you cannot move from NY its in your blood

I've been all over the US and South Florida is the closest to NYC in terms of being a cosmopolitan international hip city to live and work in.

Since you like the club scene after NYC, only LA, Vegas and South Beach come close to that lifestyle of all night clubbing.

Right, because all the epic centers of the earthquakes in California, happen in the middle of L.A

Do your research, if we do have an earthquake the epic centers are down south closer to San diego and we get the after effects.

seeric 10-02-2005 08:55 AM

i'm calling south beach for you too, anywhere south of georgia and you'd be happy. south beach has a great club scene too. tons of women, nice ones.

If you are single, I couldn't agree any stonger with this statement.

I don't know what your status is somedays you're getting married to your girl somedays it appears otherwise.

Tampa is the place to be if you are looking for action. The women are second to none, and they have a VERY open attitude. They play hard and seek out a good time. No silly superficial attitudes. It is like disney world for consenting adults.

With that said, it is NOT a place for a traditional couple for the very reasons listed above. The area IMHO is not family friendly. I lived there for 17 of the greatest years of my life, it was time to settle down so I got out.

But if you still have wild oats to sew there is no finer place to live.

For pure women+nightlife+fun factor your money will not go farther ANYWHERE in the country. You may be able to live cheaper elsewhere ( I don't know of one) but you will not find what tampa has to offer.

I grew up in LA, have family that lived anywhere from Laguna Beach to Malibu, have lived on other parts of the coast in Cali, and have lived in AZ and FL (just south of Miami)

For me I hate humidity so although I loved the atmosphere of Miami the weather & bugs killed me (and in a few years more of ice caps melting some parts will just be gone anyways).

If I were looking for a happening spot as a single person to live I'd check out Scottsdale/Phx area (major amounts of hotties and schools) or maybe San Diego (still a tad humid but way more moderate that Miami for sure).

LA is completely out due to dirty ass crowds, dirty ass air, and in general being a dirty ass crowded place (but fun to visit still with a gas mask on) etc.

Las Vegas I hear is ok, but after a while I think people get tired of the seedy strip life. Great place to visit though, great place to invest in some rental properties.

that's my :2 cents:

good luck with the hunt :thumbsup :pimp

Vegas is the dirtiest city i've ever been to, getting off the plane you get hit with insane heat, the air is crazy, it's just a dirty city heh, From the Tv's in cabs to the crazies that live there.

Just move to Holland!

ur married right? don't bother with vegas unless you plan on cheating :)

way too much temptation out here

Kiwigirl 10-02-2005 01:27 PM

Come to Tampa, FL Juicy. Weather is nice and property value is still on the rise here.
Buy a house for 300k, in 2 yrs it will be worth at least 400k.
If your scared of the hurricanes, buy inland or where it is noted as a non flood zone. :)
Plenty of activities to do here, great family location and good schools.....if you look in the right area! :)

Arizona!

It's a beautiful 99 degrees here today, with zero humidity. It will be nice and warm all winter long.

Housing is cheap here, no smog, and no traffic.

Alleged Indecent Exposure 10-02-2005 01:56 PM

Do NOT move to CA.

All of the men there pluck their eyebrows, wear eyeliner and pretend that they don't prefer men.

Oh, ummm, nevermind.
