Unless you are a fish, you gotta be a retard to live below sea level these days.

From TCC:

Quote:

08/28/05: I just wanted to update everyone before i lose power. I will likely be unavailable for at least a few days, maybe weeks. I live in southeast louisiana, not in the flood prone area, but i should see 120+ mph winds.
I'd expect that he'd relocate to a hotel or something soon...

He said he would prolly be away for a while. He posted that a few days ago, and the last I heard from him.

Just more suspense and worry. This hurricane is like a long lingering fucking torture. We ain't heard the last of it. I think unfortunately the worst has yet to come.

I didn't realize Will lives in New Orleans. I hope he is safe and sound wherever he is right now.

wratom 08-31-2005 10:28 AM

I spoke with Troy of teamclickcash last night. He said the TCC guys were ok and will be in the process of rebuilding soon. Ryan may have lost his house. Metairie is totally underwater but I do not know for sure.

Their office is located on the 4th floor but I believe they just ran out of backup power. (teamclickcash.com just went down about an hour ago) They are currently in the process of transferring everything to their servers in NY.

They are a great group of guys and I am sure they will be back up soon.

wratom 08-31-2005 11:13 AM

* seems teamclickcash is back up

loverboy 08-31-2005 03:26 PM

Bump for Will76 and his family :)

I hope you guys doing ok down there and are safe. Looking foward to you guys returning in the near future.

You know how to get ahold of me if need be. :thumbsup

will76 09-03-2005 01:03 PM

i'm ok.

Been rough couple days but nothing compared to what the people in the city are going through.

My house made it in one piece but there is a lot of damage here. I have a lot of family that is now homeless (house currently under water) and I need to focus on helping them the next couple weeks. I still have people i haven't been able to get in touch with.

I am running off of limited power from a generator and using satellite internet access but gas is hard to come buy so can't keep the generator running for long. Phones, electric will not be back up for weeks, if not months.

I should have my personal situations taken care of in the next couple weeks and will be back in full force. Thank god for insurance, about time they pay me back ;) Everyone hang tight, I will be back 100% soon enough.

Doc. I will email you later tonight, phone are impossible still.

THanks to everyone for their kind words and concern. I feel for the thousands of people who have died on roof tops, and those that were trapped in the city. There really was only a hand full of "bad" people rioting (for non essential items) and shooting at cops, and the media totally blows it up like it was everyone in the city doing it. The govt. let a lot of people down, and let them die. It's a shame. Glad to see Bush is getting off of his ass now and taking action, but it is way too late for a lot of people.

Will

First off let me say I'm glad you and your family/friends are okay. All the best getting back to normal.

However, if you're able bodied and ignored the two days warning, well how exactly did the goverment let you die?

Rui 09-03-2005 01:29 PM

will76 - glad to know things are ok but why the hell haven't you left NO...?
