Easy, she was the best performer by a mile. Justin Guarini came in second...and he has a pretty poor voice. I'm not sure what performance you're referring to, but she's typically pretty great live. I'm a trained vocalist and IMO she has an amazing voice.

Never watched American Idol but I liked listening to her stuff. Her voice is beautiful

I have Kelly's live mp3's of her live performances at AI and she actually sings VERY GOOD live. She has a BEAUTIFUL voice and is extremely talented, one of my fave singers out there!

She does have a great voice, not my kind of music though.

They just replayed her set from MTV tonight, she was terrible. Her voice must be shot or something, didn't even sound like her.

k, I just watched it. Her vocals were not good because she was jumping up and down too much and dancing plus the water being sprayed everywhere did not help. She sang much better in American Idol when she can stand still and focus on her vocals.

Usually artists lip synch when dancing so much such as Britney, Kelly sang live so that is why it sounded like that. She usally sounds much better.

I am not really a fan but I think she is a good singer, might not have the same star power as that of Britney and her copycats, but still talented.

I think she is one of the most talented female vocalists currently out. Didn't see the performance you're referring to. However, I read something today saying there were technical difficulties in that particular performance... ???

she has an amazing voice but she was pushing too hard last night. She was trying to show how "rock" she is now, going for a Janis Joplin style, and started out strong and then blew her voice out by the end of the song. Very few singers can pull off that type of raw, throaty scream for a whole set. :2 cents:

She sounded a bit tired last night in the water, but she's usually ace live. Her SNL appearances this season were great, and she's hands-down the best to have come out of Idol.
