In light of IBill's problems........

Since Ibill has been having so many problems lately we are going to move to a new processor.

Which ones have you moved too and how did it affect your conversions?

ldinternet 02-13-2002 11:08 AM

Jettis kicks ass. :glugglug

Sleepy 02-13-2002 11:11 AM

ccbill was no problem.. one call and an hour later it was done.
My resellers had zero complaints about the switch, 5% reserves and weekly payouts are nice too.

Try Jettis, big players like ARS recently made Jettis their primary processor.

and here is the testimony from the trenches:

Hey Serge aka shavingguru, I couldn't agree with you more about processors. One of my sponsers just added the option to use jettis instead of iBill. I switched yesterday and my signups tripled. Coincidence? Hmmmmmm.....

Hey Oprano,

You know the ropes and have been around a while. You see everyone says this one or that one is the best, but the webmasters are always left wondering. Many sites have differnet needs.

Would you be interested in doing a kind of, test of the 5 or 10 major billers. Like a demo or a pros/cons competition of some kind.

We could include categories like tech help, transaction speeds, payouts, affilite programs and such. I know it would be a bit of an undertaking but im sure the webmasters would appreciate it. We could get somefeedback from the webmasters as to what categories they feel are important or would like to include.

People would greatly respect your opinion as well as lensmans.

Crash the Party - Third Party Billers put to the test

Maximus,
Oprano and I'm sure GFY,
as 2 leading webmaster resources,
will be delighted to put the test along the lines you suggested

We have sponsors who trade a few millions clicks a day and they be more than delighted to put this traffic to the test.

drop me e-mail at
[email protected] so we could talk about particulars,
we are VERY interested and let chips fall where they fall.

Kimmykim 02-13-2002 12:47 PM

We'd be more than willing to do that test, Maximus -- on one basic condition.

None of the processors knows who is involved in doing the actual testing. That way there can't be any special treatment for any of the participants, from any processor. Knowing who it was doing the test might give someone the inclination to do things differently than a normal guy would get treated.

Obviously people can test without anyone agreeing to it, that's not the issue, I just want to make it fair for all parties involved as to the results.

Personally I'd also like a copy of the detailed findings, since no matter how good we are, there are always places we could be better.

Maximus 02-13-2002 12:51 PM

Hey Kimmy,

Yes I agree . None of us can be in the judging or be in cohoots with the judges. We would all like an impartial look at our systems.

This will help us all, webmasters and billers. Those of us, like yourself, that care will implement needed changes they may not have addressed previously. This could be really useful for all.

yeap, I agree, KK, NO ADVANCE WARNINGS!
and I think I even know how to do it,
wait 'till "billybob" opens his site and start changing processors
;-))

Kimmykim 02-13-2002 12:56 PM

ROFL Serge, how bout making sure that 'Billybob' has a real site and can do enough sales to actually be able to tell what's going on?

You might also want to let "Billybob" know that testing for long enough is also a key.

Maximus 02-13-2002 12:59 PM

Hey mr brian,

Netbilling doesnt do third party billing.

Im sure if this works out im sure we will do a second event considering those who process gateway transactions.
