This is a small sample. The other stuff is in boxes. I'm going to build a terrarium/train set with these pieces as part of it. I bought some kick ass Disney Monorail train sets ( believe you me they can range in the $1,500 range ) and I'm building track so the monorail can go all around whatever I put it in, even around the house.

ROFL! Boneprone, them Monorail toys you have to fight for!!! There are dudes who will rob you in the street for them. Somehow, someway, I snagged up three of the 'red' monorails on Ebay months ago. The boxes are so big I use them to support the giant stack of other toys on either side of the studio. I think you might be able to see em' in one of these pics.

So I bought a Tinkerbell figurine for one of my goddaughters and it wouldn't stop. I ended up in DEEP trouble cause I bought her one and didn't buy the neice or other goddaughters or girlfriend one. So now I got stuck with buyin' enough Tinkerbell stuff. BUT what I didn't know was the stuff I bought at the last minute was RARE so now every freakin' day I get a half dozen emails from around the world begging me for this stuff. It's risen at least 8 times the value in just a few months! I have 3 Tinkerbell pieces that are like 2-3 feet tall! I ended up buying the last ones on Earth and didn't know it.

One thing I learned is that people love Tinkerbell. I had no idea. The Japanese especially. So companies that produce Tinkerbell stuff spend that extra quality which is why the stuff sells out so fast. I have 5 Tink pieces I bought for a total of $500 that are now worth $4,800 EASY. I ain't sellin' em' though. They'll go great with my terrarium.

ROFL! Space Ghost is my NEEZORK! I mean the original Space Ghost, not the offbeat one.

Back in the day when I was a kid, Space Ghost was politically incorrect. He would blow up mo'fo's like it wun't nuthin'! He was always fuckin' dudes up with a power beam n' shit and every 5 seconds there was shit blowin' up or dudes meetin' their doom at the hands of some evil m'fucker. Them was the days! That big Space Ghost maquette is one of 2 I got. Dude who sculpted it is a master.

Yo! Nice link! I'll be stopping by there to pick up that blimp toy. I can make a kick ass diorama with an Empire State Building model or something. Dressup the blimp like the Hindenburg.

Y'know I have only seen a few Superman/Batman/Supergirl/Batgirl figures that I would want. They're all retro though. Not the new hardedged stuff.

They're expensive though. One has Superman meeting Supergirl for the first time. It's like $2-$300 smackers.

There are some kickass Batman sculpts coming out this year and a fucking raucous Hellboy statue. I'm not a fan of Hellboy but this statue kicks mutant ass twice. It's at www.electrictiki.com

ROFL! You KNOW I'm the 'Uncle/Godfather' of the year after giving the girls Tink stuff! Even some of the women in the neighborhood who found out are chompin' at the bit cause they want me to give them one. The gang at the post office bow when I walk in. They know all them packages have cool shit in them.

I'm going to have to use my old video camera to take some pics. Only way to show the clarity and quality of some of this stuff.

Yo!!! I used to have em' too! But I only had a handful because the Star Wars figurines didn't come out til much later after the original movie. I had some of models and figures but didn't get collect em'.

You must ALWAYS protect your SW figures and toys. Especially from the 70's and 80's. People fight over them things!

I collect the vehicles nowadays. I'm on my way to the store to buy the Death Star model. Actually two of them. One for display that I can trick out to the max. Gonna put lights and a laser in the death beam.

Y'know, when I was a kid I had GI Joes. I dropped em' for Captain Action. He was dude that came with other superhero costumes like Captain America, Spider-Man, Superman. It was like having 20 toys in 1.

Wish I had kept them Captain Action toys! They reissued them a few years ago. He had a villain called Dr. Evil who looked like Austin Powers' Dr. Evil but he was an alien.

Classic GI Joe stuff fetches some high prices nowadays!

Yo, KEEP them McFarland toys! The ONE thing I like most about Todd is that he actually takes the time to make sure the shit is cool as fuck!

He gets guys to do 110% as a minimum and you can tell because they're such detailed!

I'm however not into the ghoulish monster stuff. I go for the classic monsters like Frankenstein or the Rat-bat-spider-crab from 'Angry Red Planet' but that's about it.

I do NOT have any 'Alien' toys. I love the ships though.

Tink represents the independent, strong-willed woman, as opposed to the Wendy type a lot of women settle into. I think she's a symbol of youth, and exuberance, and self-love, and that's why we love her so much. *grin*

NoooOOOooo!!!! :)

Don't EVEN get me started on old skate stuff! Man, there were some decks and sets that are priceless! My homie Ian was a pro skater and he actually found some of his decks in a hobby shop in Saudi Arabia of all places!

Here's a toon I did for Thrasher Magazine:

I cant get started on the stuff I wish i had from those days. Skating wa changing so much. Tricks like Nose Blunts were just starting so board shapes were changing.

The pig and old pool school riders, we set the trends, now its so corporate.

Watcvhing Dogtown and Z Boys DVD doesnt help to stop the craving for old skate stuff.

I want my Roskopp (lime) and my original Blue Mike McGill. :(

I wont even go into the skate deck art collections that are going on with the popularity of the sport now.

But guys like Neil Bender being the first to use his own art on his deck, man those were the years.

I had the original Neil Bender, and the original Gonz decks.

I miss things like the Schmitt Stix concave that wa sso popular.

we may be old school, be ware still here to make sure the memory is alive.

there will never be another late 80s skate decade. our lopsided hair dos and deviloocks made skating what it is today.

Natas Kaupas is putting out some SWEET decks under the name DESIGNARIUM under SANTA CRUZ.

sweet stuff.

YES! YES!!! Gonz was in the neighborhood around a month ago the boys tell me. Late 80s was the WORLD! We were like princes. We could do ANYTHING. The more dangerous the trick the more tempting!!! Rolling the full length of Broadway in Manhattan at 2 am. NOTHIN' like it! Just a non stop roll!!!! Snag a cab bumper and BREEZE!

Things got crazy when Gator got busted but Hawk and Gonz and the rest kept our chins up.

You have GOT to keep your old decks. I have a pic of a pal of mine with his Rob Roskopff deck. It looks like that American Gothic picture with him and his girlfriend. It's a riot.

You got any of the t-shirts from back then? Or old Vans?

Fletch XXX 08-23-2005 10:37 AM

no i lost all my shirts and shoes.

i lived in my car for a brief moment and many things in my life have been lost due to the road to hell, but thingsd are good now.

The one shirt I truly miss and wish I had was my original SUICIDAL TENDENCIES skull with rag shirt.

of course these are re-=issue but I had the original on the left.

Fletch XXX 08-23-2005 10:40 AM

Greg, I have some plans and may need an old school toonist.

I may need to hit you up for some art. Would you be interested in possible doing some art for skate related stuff? Not next week or nothing but I have some plans I am trying to work out with partner and well... since you did Thrasher comics... :) might as well ask.

ROFL! I had all the original ST stuff! I remember I flew out to Minneapolis back in the early, early 80's and no one there had heard of ST.

They snagged up all my gear yo!

I was just listening to ST the other day. Truly one of the original breakout bands in the past 30 years EASY.

Ja, I'm always interested in skate stuff. hit me up on ICQ as I have fixed it now. :)

If you have any old Thrashers let me know. There are back issues of my stuff I must collect.

Oh if you collected He Man you have a very valuable collection! I was too old for He Man. Kids who were and collected them were smart!

There are guys who will sell you their first born child for a He Man toy set.

You should take pics of ALL your collections for insurance purposes. If your collection is worth $1,000 or more, it's wise to insure it. If I shot video of every toy I've bought over the past 6 years I would have more video than the Star Wars movies.

Yet, because the collection rose so fast I have to insure them. I bought some Iron Giant toys several years ago and they appreciated 700% already. Yet my collection is in a good range as baby boomers love my stuff. Any toys between '83 and '95 are highly prized as those kids then are now money makers.

That's what I did this year. Set aside a few G's to buy all my old toys so I could have a decent studio to futz around in while I'm studying and working.

Now the big challenge will be the Hot Wheels toys. Dudes fight over them. I have to get my Hot Wheels and Corgi cars and tracks collection next if I can afford it. They used to have Sizzlers. Those were Hot Wheels cars you just charged up like a battery and they rolled on and fucking on! That was the last set I had back in the 70s and can't figure out why in the world I stopped playing with them. ( Now I know why, it's called GIRLS became more interesting ).

Now that I'm an old fart I can enjoy my stuff and study the craftsmanship which is remarkable. I now design toys and build prototypes! I invest in new statue/maquette lines and the return is like 800% EASY. Believe you me, if you get in on developing toys, go for it. You end up making tons of loot before you even start.

I can take a piss ass $5-$10k and toss it at the boys who do the sculpting and marketing and within a few weeks the shit is fucking ON! I mean the guys who sculpt the Marvel/DC/Star Wars shit too. Just awesome work and new guys and girls being trained every day.

Oh, a toy set I have to get are the old electric football sets. Back before video games they would make a table that vibrated and you had football team figures just like the real teams. You would turn this shit on and the players would run around the set! They fucking ROCKED! If I could get the 60's Jets, Vikings, Bears, I would be fucking happy!
