I will fire her RRRED. I hired a few new fresh grads and explained everything to them. I did'nt think that it was was that complicated.

This business is complicated for some people and there is so much to learn. Part of learning it is going to the board and reading and asking questions.

I hired new fresh grads based on there college background ( IT , Computer Science , Sales and Marketing ) Took a few days to orient and explain how things work..... sent them to the message board to first read and lurk. But I guess some people get it and some people don't .... sorry everyone.

Difference between a filipino businessman/woman and someone hired solely to discuss things on a board *when they are at a disadvantage because of the language difference* because you can pay them peanuts.

The Philippines has had English as a second language since 1935. People that are educated and college level grads speak English just as good as most people in the United States who are less educated. I am not saying you have to go to college to be a webmaster.

What I am saying is that webmasters come from everyone country in the world. If you read most of the threads on the board by webmasters from other countries, there English is not perfect either. That doesnt make them less of a webmaster or capable of doing business. What does the cost of peanuts have to do with anything ? I pay and live based on the local economy !

I understand that completely, and I am usually quite tolerant of them for that reason. While I have not had the pleasure of running across Gia's pearls of wisdom, I have seen the idiocy of Empress displayed rampantly over the last few days, and based upon that experience, and this thread I arrived at the conclusion expressed above.

At least someone understands hwo it is to hire someone new. This business has so many different things to understand...... it is not something you can go to school for. Starting out as a newbie is not easy if there is already so many people agiant you. The boards are a good place to learn. Even with all the bullsh*t threads there is some useful information here !

I think it's not idiocy to have some quite new ideas. You can't call anybody as idiots or stupids just for the fact that you don't like what they do or say. I think we have our freedom to express ourselves here. And as long as you don't abuse that freedom, i think we also deserve some respect. I'm quite new here but i though understand what's going on here. It may take me sometime to fully understand but I'm doing my best. The best way to learn is to take things slowly but surely. pax

When I was 18 or 19 I was first introduced into a business relationship with an internationally known outlaw motorcycle club.

My first time, I was like you. Young, stupid, and saying things that were probably not quite appropriate. After we left, my buddy was kind enough to educate me to the fact that it is better to listen, rather than feel the need to talk at every opportunity. I was smart enough to pay attention, and noticed the difference on subsequent meetings.

I agree there is a learning curve, I disagree that Empress has a "unique" way of posting -- I think she has an inappropriate way of posting. I have yet to see anything relevant other than her running around the forums, making completely redundant comments and "I'd like to get to know people" which...its fine she wants to get to know people, but lets get real, this is a business, not a yahoo "Lets be friends" chat room. I've seen posts of hers talking about vampires & blood fetishes. That's great, but its like she's a 13 yr old girl that took a wrong turn on her way to http://www.vampire-online.com (where she'd fit in a whole lot better, I might add). I have personally found her posts to be inappropriate to the degree that this morning, I was questioning whether she was even of legal age to be posting on this forum. That public impression she is putting out & giving your business, goes beyond "unique" and into downright inappropriate.

Stacey--I like your attitude, my initial impression of you is WAY higher than my impression of Empress or Gio.

I am also actually shocked to learn that the "JoinRightNow" people are from a business. Dugmore--being a newbie is understandable, having questions is fine... but in all honesty I thought Empress was underage, not in the business in any way, and a sig whore that thought she had the board all figured out, slap on a sig, post a bunch & earn some money.

There are a lot of successful Goth sites. The problem is I do not have any ! I do have some teen sites which is good .... 18 and 19 that is so I guess she need to mature her posting technique from looking like a 13 year old. I do agree with you on that also.

It is hard enough for me to tutor them in every part of the business and too much time for me to read all there threads. So I appreciate your feed back and comments !

I do understand that there's a lot of successful Goth sites, if that's the area she's targetting to work on (I'm not sure how their tasks are all set up) then that's pretty cool she's got an interesting niche to work with there; just work on a little professionalism at the same time. :) Glad you understand what I'm saying...
