I still have about 4 - 5 hours or work and want to pull an all nighter. Anyone have some good tips on how to help stay awake ? I am fine now but come 5am.... :( (legal ideas, i dont want to take speed. And vivarin brings back too many college flash backs)

Thanks

Hey man, this won't help you much now but you may want to do some research on Adrafinil.

Unlike Caffeine, Ephedrine and all those other bullshit kickers, Adrafinil has virtually no side-effects. No jittering, clouding of thoughts, or even that horrible drugged-up feeling (you probably know what i'm talking about). Believe me I have tried a lot of things to stay awake, and this is seriously the best.

Unlike the drugs above, Adrafinil does not "speed you up" to the point of restlessness, nor does it induce a fake feeling of being awake. This drug actually makes sleep unnecessary as it induces a state of full, natural awakeness - like you already slept as much as needed.

This is a breakthrough drug which actually makes you not need sleep, though I wouldn't recommend you using it too much. It's best if you use it when you anticipate becoming tired soon. Take 1-2, boost if neccesary after 6-10 hours.

This is legal and it is not scheduled at all.
And it's pretty easy to find.

Goes for about $60-$100 for 20-40 doses (depending on your body weight & tolerance) and it's WELL worth it.

Stay away from Caffeine, Ephedrine, Guarana and all other stimulants.
NONE of them will return you to baseline after the drug loses effect. You will always be below baseline when you come down, and thus be even more tired when you took it.

just go to bed, youll feel twice as crappy the next day if youre on drugs or even on 10 double espressos

i will check it out although it sounds dangerious for me :winkwink: . I have never been adicted to anything, drugs, cigs, gambling, drinking, etc... but i always said if they could come up with a way i wouldnt have to sleep I would do it. Fucking waste to sleep away 30% of your life. Shit think of everything you could do with that extra time. Sleep should be a luxuary not a neccessity.

georgeyw 07-26-2005 01:36 AM

Get a small bathroom towel, wet it and put it over your shoulders.

Drugs etc just make you feel like puss the next day.

Yep, exactly what I have always said.
Just don't try to replace this with actual sleep - because frankly I have no clue what sort of effect that could have if any, this is just more of a "I really need to stay up tonight but I woke up at 5am and i'm exhausted" kind of thing.

This drug has no addictive properties, as you don't even notice the drug really. You just feel awake - it's very gradual.

Like all drugs i'm sure it has dangers, but I usually aire on the side of caution with my 'experiments' so I wouldn't know of any. If you go for it, don't go overboard. 1-2 is enough for hours. In fact, I don't even think anyone needs 2. Just play it safe and you're good. :)

je_rome 07-26-2005 01:49 AM

coffee works for me. and open your tv! and once in a while, you get up and do some stretches.. pinch yourself if you have to.

Antonio 07-26-2005 01:52 AM

here's a 100% natural solution, go to your sleeping wife, tap her butt, and say 'hey babe, how about a blowjob' ..... what's she's going to scream to you will keep you awake for a long time

work-a-holic + pills with no side affects that make it so you dont have to sleep.... thats addictive in it's self :winkwink: i will give them a try and take it easy see what happens :)

Digibucks 07-26-2005 03:30 AM

i cant of anything else except coffee

Juilan 07-26-2005 03:34 AM

Leonardo Davinchi did this. Nap for 15 minutes every 3 hours. He had someone wake him but you can use one of those digital cooking timers. Your batty at first but then your body gets used to it.

webcrawler 07-26-2005 03:39 AM

coffee or some cold drink should help. and do walk around if you feel sleepy.

:thumbsup Good luck. Hope it works as well for you as it does for me.
BTW, it usually takes around an hour to take effect - possibly longer for others.
Keep some Eye Moisturizer around too, your eyes will still be burnt out. :)
