The Next President of the United States is

Condoleeza Rice

don't forget who warned you.

BiggleJones 07-19-2005 12:38 PM

hahaha...you're funny. If it were down to her and Hilary, Hilary would take it no problem. But thats not gonna happen either. Giuliani in 2008.

aico 07-19-2005 12:39 PM

...Cheney... right after Bush gets shot right in the fucking head.

SouthernGirl 07-19-2005 12:40 PM

i doubt that

hilary vs condi ...condi by a landslide..

A black woman?
Umm nope. The repubs could pull a lot of shit off but getting their core base of bible thumpers, hicks, and confederate flag waving voters to put a black woman into office as the president is a super long shot.

That would be AWSOME! I would volunteer for that campaign! :thumbsup

sextoyking 07-19-2005 12:41 PM

Hillary I am willing to bet.

Giuliani will not get the nomination I belive as the repubs and right wingers will never approve of a pro choice canidate, pro gay rights, etc.

SouthernGirl 07-19-2005 12:42 PM

you think those people are ever gonna vote for anyone BUT a republican? no, they will choose what they see as the lesser of two evils..

AND theoretically, rice would pull some heavy numbers with women and blacks...

sextoyking 07-19-2005 12:42 PM

Rice is also Pro Choice, remember that :)

SouthernGirl 07-19-2005 12:43 PM

she is on tv an awful lot lately..she is looking awesome ( for her ) like she has had a makeover...

Dalai lama 07-19-2005 12:44 PM

I dont think so

sextoyking 07-19-2005 12:45 PM

Also, Rice is smart as a whip, I wouldn't support her but her other problem besides being pro choice is that she has never held any elected office.

Dunno.....

sonofsam 07-19-2005 12:45 PM

arnold is gonna become president and pull the troops out of iraq and say "i'll be back" and then all the terrorists will ask for his autograph and make peace.

SouthernGirl 07-19-2005 12:45 PM

from apurely cynical standpoint, with the iraq war, the next republican is going to be a hardsell..and maybe a lost cause..rice would be the best machiavellan move by the republicans because she would definitely help the republican party with blacks and females LONG TERM

That's interesting, since the republicans have put more women and minorities into REAL positions of power than any democratic administration... :2 cents:

If somebody pulled the uninformed minorities from the democratic party, they would have hard time getting 25% of the vote.

The Truth Hurts 07-19-2005 12:50 PM

has anyone actaully ever seen someone 'thump' a bible?

Not true at all. I haven't done the #'s on the current admin, but overall, over the years, it's been the dems by a wide margin.

Bush got Powell in as sec of state.

Clinton got Mad. Albright.

Tit for tat I guess.

SouthernGirl 07-19-2005 12:51 PM

holy shit

im psychic

Unauthorized Condi hats, T-shirts, even bobblehead dolls abound on the Internet, and there is a lively discussion of a forthcoming book by Dick Morris, former political adviser to President Clinton, titled "Condi v. Hillary: The Next Great Presidential Race."

SouthernGirl 07-19-2005 12:53 PM

how brilliant..

democrats nominate a woman, they nominate a black woman

bahahaha

sextoyking 07-19-2005 12:53 PM

If the republicans will nominate a pro choice Canidate - I will be so damm shocked, I can never see it happen, well at least in the next few yrs.

those 6-7 million evangelicals who came out for bush will never ever vote for a pro choice person, male or female..

Radik 07-19-2005 12:53 PM

Giuliani, everyone likes him, a woman?; yeah that would be a first, and not the right time for it.. People will fall back on who they know Giuliani.

Rich 07-19-2005 12:54 PM

Jeb Bush will run for the republicans and win no matter how many people vote for him, obviously. Some of you talk like you still live in a democracy.

SouthernGirl 07-19-2005 12:54 PM

do you think if a shot at the presidency hangs in the balance , she won't change her position on choice?

when they dangle that carrot, she won't be able to resist

sextoyking 07-19-2005 12:57 PM

True, True. I belive Mccain. Frist has lost some power and seems weak, at least right now.

Remember Mccain actually won in NH in 2000

good point, I don't know enough about her to decide if she would flip flop, etc but I don't think she will get it anyways...

When is the last time we have elected a president who has never ever been elected by the voters to any office at all??

i don't know..

xxxdesign-net 07-19-2005 01:03 PM

Hilary Clinton has too many skeletons in her closet.. mainly after the new book released about her... Rice is too weak.. personality wise.. she's very soft spoken.. and well.. a female and black.. but she'd be a GREAT puppet for the neo cons.. My guess is McCain will be elected.. He is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations.. Thats as good as being a Bilderberg... Thats his ticket.. :thumbsup

Sorry, but you are totally wrong.

GW has the most diverse cabinet and inner circle in the history of the US.

Do some research...

Alberto Gonzales, the first Hispanic to hold one of the powerful ?big four? Cabinet jobs, attorney general.

Powell as the first African American, then Condoleezza Rice, to be the first female African-American secretary of State, the Cabinet?s senior position.

Margaret Spellings, his domestic policy adviser, to lead the Education Department

Carlos Gutierrez to head Commerce

The GOP isn?t running around with a checklist, trying to add the ?right mix? of ethnic and gender groups in order to play to certain groups. The president is simply choosing people he believes are qualified for their positions. The result has been a diverse cabinet. Even some Democrats grumbled during the presidential campaign that Bush had more African-Americans and Hispanics among his closest advisers than John Kerry

it's about policy , not individuals.

I don't agree with you on Hillary. Sure - everyone has things in there past. but she is doing just like Bill did, postioning herself in the center, Armed Services Comm. Backing on the war, etc.

If she gets a weak person against her as the repub. nominee, she has it in the bag.

If it's Mccain, dunno.... Iraq, the economy, etc, etc will tell.

And what the fuck is wrong with displaying a flag of our heritage and history - I suppose its ok for Puerto Rican flags in NYC but not the stars and bars in my home town? We didnt celebrate the 4th of July here until 4 years ago - that was the day our city fell to US Grant in 1863 and has always been a day of mourning and remembrence of our ancestors that were killed by their brothers and fathers fighting for the side of nationalist views instead of states views - and please dont give me nay garbage about thinking that the civil war was fought over slavery - it wasnt and if you really believed your history teacher in high school - you need to go brush up on your history :)

More importantly - dont fucking label us as any special party - we vote for whomever we like(and we actually vote - do you?) - democrat or republican its all an individual choice unlike a lot of fucking sheep on here that follow the crowd to be politically correct - and for those of you that are too young to remember - 30 years ago the south was all democrat - a republican couldnt even stump down here. But I guess it fits your mold of what everyone is like in different parts of the US.

A catfight with meaning. :winkwink:

SouthernGirl 07-19-2005 01:09 PM

condoleeza rice should use her access to bush to ask the question, "Why is the rate of black men vs white men in prison for drug crimes disporportionate to the population ?"

sextoyking 07-19-2005 01:09 PM

Michael,

in washington it's all about politics baby :) Yeh, bush had more african americans at top level admin positions, but overall, if were talking female, etc I say the dems over the yrs by a far shot.

You have a hispanic in bush 2nd term as att. general, you also had Janet Reno..

it's tit for tat. belive it.....

the republicans suceeded in waging an idealogical war against the democrats.
they have made Democrat synonymous with abortion, homosexuals and drugs.
