Garth Brooks - I really dont get it
 

This guy has sold so many records it is unreal. Yet whenever I listen to his music I just want to commit suicide. The only decent band I can think of from Texas is ZZ Top.

Garth seems a nice guy but why is he so fucking depressed?

Garth is great and I'm not even a big country music fan.

For those who are willing to let their minds paint them a picture, one can see this scene in their head and laugh their ass off!

A group of stuck up people are sitting in a room listening to soft music and congratulating themselves on being the masters of the universe. They're all wearing black and white formal wear, tuxes, expensive dresses... whatever. Then all of a sudden some dusty cowboy comes in wearing boots and has a jaw full of chew. He walks up to the bitch who left him for some rich dude, takes the rich guy's drink, chugs it, and delivers that line to his ex:

"We may be through, but you'll never hear me complain".

Nice. I like it.

In my opinion, Garth is probably one of the best, if not the best country singer ever. Even though he didn't write all of his songs, he is still great...

Standing outside the fire, unanswered prayers, friends in low places, that summer, ain't goin down, callin baton rouge, the river, longneck bottle, the dance, thunder rolls.... with all of those and more, how can you say he sucks?

well even being a "hardcore" (haha) goth/rivet head i still love garth brooks (grew up listening to him and well he kicks ass still.
