Volvo s40 t5 or Subaru legacy limited?
 

fits in my price range for a new car. which would u choose?

Get a legacy turbo, I have an Impreza and it's great fun... :thumbsup

They both look like too boring...
But all drivers are satisfied with Volvo and Subaru. Take a test drive.

Check out teh Audi A3. It looks better than both (just my opinion) and has the best engine/trans pair out of the bunch. That 2.0T adn the DSG transmission is pretty damn fun. The DSG auto gets better times than the manual cause it shifts faster than you ever could on your own. It's actually faster than Ferrari's F1 transmission (the street version of it anyway).

It starts at $25,000 and is a damn good looking car....especially for a four door wagon.

If that doesn't interest you I guess I'd choose the Subaru.
