I have the '04 S40, and it is one of the best cars I have owned ... probably only other car I liked more was my 635CSi

Check out teh Audi A3. It looks better than both (just my opinion) and has the best engine/trans pair out of the bunch. That 2.0T adn the DSG transmission is pretty damn fun. The DSG auto gets better times than the manual cause it shifts faster than you ever could on your own. It's actually faster than Ferrari's F1 transmission (the street version of it anyway).
It starts at $25,000 and is a damn good looking car....especially for a four door wagon. If that doesn't interest you I guess I'd choose the Subaru. |
