It's a bit overboard to taze someone for a traffic offense but then again you can't she whether she's swinging or batting away the other officer inside the car. And she should have just got out when he pulled the tazer anyways lol..

He told her to step out of the car, she replied "No, I'm on the phone".
He then tried to physically help her out, her reaction, "Get your hands off me"
He then warned her 5+ times that he was going to taser her.

What else should he have done?
Shoud every officer have to wait somebody out till they feel it is time to comply w/ routine of the law?

Amen to be nasty and have a suspended license takes balls. Also most dont realize they write you a ticket in lieu of arresting you, they could arrest if they wanted to. I have gotten out of few ticketable offences being respectful and polite. Those guys got a tough enough job as it is.

I can't see blaming the cops here... they were pretty patient with her and she was just completely irrational and disrespectful. I hate when cops jump right to treat you like a piece of trash criminal but this wasn't the case. I wanted slap the shit oughta this lady and I'm really hard to rile up.

Looks like a weak assed cop to me to have to use a taser on what sounded like a naive 16 yr old girl who just got her license.
I think I could have just snatched her out of the seat at lot smoother than using a taser which can be fatal. There's also mace which would have been better than snatching or tasing in this case.

It was more like a way to tourture her for mouthing off.
I don't think he'll be getting any commendations for bravery on this one.

If fact he's lucky she didn't die because he would definatley have lost a wrongful death suit on this one. The taser is mostly for self defense.
If a cop stops you for J-walking and you decide to run; he can't shoot you in the back with a taser or a gun or throw his baton at the back of your head.
Ambulance chasing lawyers would love to see that happen.
