___need a good CMS with great customer support___

please recommend a good CMS that has customer support readily available

i need one, right NOW...

what do you suggest ?

Hire you own programmer and write a customized one. Then beat your programmer when it breaks. You'll get great support after that.

Not the one you are using now. I am not happy with them at all.

FelixFlow 05-14-2005 10:58 PM

and the fucking search function doesnt work here....blah

Jace 05-14-2005 10:59 PM

the guys at sitedepth are always on point for me...they usually answer support emails within the hour

Jace 05-14-2005 11:00 PM

wait, after a little investigation, i think sitedepth might be what you have now

http://www.karisweets.com/sitedepth/

NaughtyRob 05-14-2005 11:01 PM

Exactly.

Jace 05-14-2005 11:07 PM

i am not having any technical issues with sitedepth, but I am having people issues with them...any time I ask anything relating to an upgrade and/or the new version, they just don't respond...and if I include it in a support email, they handle the support email and ignore the upgrade/new version issue

i am getting very frustrated

I ask one about it, they say....ask the other.

yeah...getting annoying

they seem to be burning bridges pretty fast

makes me ashamed of myself for promoting them so hard when they first came on the scene....but i guess there was no way of me knowing this would happen

yea....my sd2 got corrupted, so i got customer support to give me a reinstall

since i needed a fresh reinstall, i thought "shit, why not get the new sd3!?!?" so, taht's what i opted for

well, it has some good features, but i have had some pretty serious issues with mine...basically it does not work - AT ALL

so, i'm gonna have to get SD2 reinstalled for now so i can keep updating...

wow, that sucks hairy asshole

NaughtyRob 05-14-2005 11:25 PM

Well, I bought SD2.....they installed it. I have not set it up yet. So I figured, why not have them just install the free update of SD3. I am getting the runaround. So I dont know if I should go ahead and set up 2. I guess that is the plan.

My sites are new and my full program is not launched yet. I thought SD would be a good low priced way to go. We'll see.

Before I purchased it I asked Omar and he said I would get the upgrade for free.

do you remember when you first signed up, and one of the selling points was that anyone who had sitedepth would get any update for $50, no matter what update it was?

i have a feeling they are going to take back that offer....i can just feel it coming
