Whos responsible for this

If bills are sent to my old address while i have given the company my new address. What if i dont pay those bills simply because i never got them on my current address?

Anna_O 04-29-2005 05:48 AM

If you live in Sweden you are still responsible... Don't know how it is in Holand though.

hova 04-29-2005 05:49 AM

I you can prove that you send them your new adress you can probably talk your way out of it, if not........you are still responsible

etech 04-29-2005 05:53 AM

I had a similar case in DK, i lost:(, its my duty to report change of address.

FuqALot 04-29-2005 05:54 AM

Nope, you have to pay them.

DutchTeenCash 04-29-2005 05:55 AM

you are youre obliged to give them your new adress, if they fuck up its still your shot. Sucks I know I had it more then once, in the end youve gotta cough up anyhow.

If its gas electricity kpn or so my advice : pay, theyll add costs every damn time. Plus weve got this neat little law that states if you used the service you gotta pay for it, works 2 ways.

chemicaleyes 04-29-2005 05:56 AM

If you use whatever the service is then you have to pay the bills.

talking your way out of it will not work with a gass company or electric company....it worked for me with UPC :)

webcrawler 04-29-2005 07:04 AM

If you're talking about 2 months or more of unpaid monthly bills, then its your fault. You used the services and yet you didn't bother call them why are you not receiving any billing statement.

Nad 04-29-2005 07:07 AM

it takes at least 2 months for all address changes to take place.. they are going to make you pay em... 'you are supposed to keep track' shove it up your ass customer service fucks!

Damn I got so pissed when that happened to me

Dirty F 04-29-2005 07:08 AM

I paid already.

Stinks.

Wow... does it not occur to you that you might want to do business with someone on this board at some time? The above reads very close to:

"if I swich icq's and the person can't find me. Do I have to pay them?"

Btw i did business with dozens of people on this board.

And ive had 1 icq number for the last 5 years.

I cant believe im defending myself :/

Enough.

HpicAnn 04-29-2005 07:22 AM

It's better you already paid cause i had heard of people that never receive bills cause they were sent to an old address and suddenly they started receiving calls from a collection agency and all because a person that did not issue the correct new address isnt this incredible?

iwantchixx 04-29-2005 11:27 AM

You're still responsible. It's up to you to make sure payment is made no matter what the circumstances. Sucks eh.
