If you live in Sweden you are still responsible... Don't know how it is in Holand though.

you are youre obliged to give them your new adress, if they fuck up its still your shot. Sucks I know I had it more then once, in the end youve gotta cough up anyhow.

If its gas electricity kpn or so my advice : pay, theyll add costs every damn time. Plus weve got this neat little law that states if you used the service you gotta pay for it, works 2 ways.

If you use whatever the service is then you have to pay the bills.

talking your way out of it will not work with a gass company or electric company....it worked for me with UPC

If you're talking about 2 months or more of unpaid monthly bills, then its your fault. You used the services and yet you didn't bother call them why are you not receiving any billing statement.

Wow... does it not occur to you that you might want to do business with someone on this board at some time? The above reads very close to:

"if I swich icq's and the person can't find me. Do I have to pay them?"

It's better you already paid cause i had heard of people that never receive bills cause they were sent to an old address and suddenly they started receiving calls from a collection agency and all because a person that did not issue the correct new address isnt this incredible?

You're still responsible. It's up to you to make sure payment is made no matter what the circumstances. Sucks eh.
