Rio de Janeiro's worst massacre
 

Thirty people, including three children, have been killed in what authorities called Brazilian capital Rio de Janeiro's worst massacre, when eight gunmen opened fire from two cars, police said.

The group appeared to be "made up of police officers".

Mr Itagiba said the drive-by slaughter may have been revenge killings for the arrest of 15 police officers in the murder of two people in nearby Caixias.

rio is safe if you are not an idiot ... like any other place in the world there are some places you just dont go ... i could get killed 1 exit of 1-95 in florida from the swanky suburbs to the ghetto.
