Norton would have detected it when you click on the mail.

it's on a web-based email addy - i just sent it to yahoo and got this

Well these new virusses try to force you to open the file.
Norton blocks it from doing that.

Not sure how it works with those web based email addresses but if you run an up to date scanner and didn't open the file it should be okay.
