biggie was more of a jazz type of lyricist..he emphasized on the "B I double G IE type of flows...pac had great lyrics..when i think of either of em, i think of the other..they go hand in hand to me

Most are garbage these days because of the record labels. Its messed up but the whole rap industry has become studio gangstas basically except for a few. But its mainly all show. After pac and biggie died, everyone got really scared..They didnt get scared to still rap about killing n drugs n shit but they got scared cuz no one acts on anything.

from what iv read about there relationship, biggie was the one who put jayz on the rap scene...He was good freinds with biggie but while biggie was alive he was not really on the scene yet..he might of dropped 1 album but it did nothing...tupac use to yell out jayz's name in his song in terms of punking him but thats about it.

Jay Z met biggie when he was first coming up (he being Jay).. Biggie loved him from the get go and it was/is history from there. You'd be amazed how many lyrics are used over and over, from artist to artist... This isnt new.
