Good point. One-man operation means one guy own the site or sites but he works with outside providers for much needed services--unless he can do all design, programming, traffic generation, data work, analytics, etc Then again that person't won't get any sleep :error

There are more than a few people who COULD make more money running sites all alone than 99.99% of the industry, but how many actually do this? I know of a couple, but who knows how many others exist that don't let it be known.

As for spammers.... I don't consider them to be a part of the adult industry. Spamming is in the bulk mail advertising industry. So they don't count.

TGP's.... I don't think even the biggest TGP's make as much as some people may think. Besides, they all have gallery reviewers.

Not sure at all that thewetlands is a oneman operation. Cbaby does her part too. Plus a cameraman plus I think there is some extra help along the way?? I used to promote them, but my conversion weren't great.
