How many webmasters use 800x600 res?
How many webmasters use 800x600 res? Any of you? Seems pretty out dated and a loss of prime real estate when surfing the web in general.
I know it's about 35-40% surfers from my stats but what about webmasters? |

it's amazing how many people still use 800x600...
i have changed the screen res on tons of friends and family members to show them how they can get more desktop space... they always complain that it makes everything too small... and changing font size isnt good enough for them. It isnt going to change much until 800x600 stops being the default on monitors |
only webmasters from Uganda :)
|
ugh... i hate 800x600.
i'm on 1280x800. |
I have one comp still at 8x6.

OH I thought we were talking our personal monitors. When I design or have something designed, it's always for 800*600 |
1280x1024 at the desktop, 320x240 at the ipaq
|
unfortunalty it is still the standard, so all my sites are for 8x6...webmaster on the other hand i think it would be safe to say that everyone is at least 1024, but hell, what do i know...Someone could be using a 15inch monitor out there to submit galleries.

I use 800x600. Anything smaller strains my eyes.
|
a lot people who use 800 x 600 dont know how to change it
|
............referring to surfers
|
Design for 800x600 in mind but run at 1024x768 as most people use 1024x768 now days. Design affilate programs at 1024x768 is fine, but for surfers always design 800x600 or you risk pissing off 25-30% of your customers, there is a large amount stuck on 800x600 and will be for years.

my laptop is 800x600
