Epassporte *blocked* electron card - happened to you?
 

About a month ago my electron card was blocked from ATM use and it happened again this week (for no reason!) - mysteriously only when I've got a few bucks sitting in there.
Now my card expires in 2 days and a new one has not been sent out?!?!
Will take a good 3 weeks to arrive in Australia, leaving a building balance and no way to withdrawl it in that time... :disgust

Does anyone else have these BLOCKED problems?

Epassport has a great service going but some things like this make me wonder :Oh crap

never happened to me, hope you get it resolved quickly.

Why was it blocked the first time and how did it get un-blocked? I've had a few people tell me this has happened to them.

I have heard 2 different versions..

1 from epassporte saying that the hard card will never expire , it will autorenew , but no need for a new card.

but

someone else posted recently and said he heard from customer support that they will send out a new card,.. so i guess thats not much help :)

Epassport says the card was blocked because I entered the wrong pin number 3 times at an ATM..... I can code php, run a network of 100 sites but fuck the pin up 3 times in a row? oh please... there must be antoher reason.

My card expires end of Jan, and it's just hitting 30th now and my card is yet to be sent... now they say theres a $100 fee for it to be expedited?

- blocked cards every month
- no card for 3-4 weeks while it gets sent out

And yes the card does hvae an expiry on it... cant use it after that!

I am blocked right now. They wanted some docs from me but their fax could nto read the docs so I am mailing them snail.

That is very lame , why wouldnt they send the card out earlier.. im sure they charged your yearly fee for the card .

Well, they charged me about a week ago, I try to keep my balance as low as possible, but theres a fair bit stuck in there now.. :(

My bank of america card expires the same time, and I received a new card from them in DECEMBER.....

makes you wonder...

It looks like the card expired a few days earlier.

Does ePassporte only send a new card after that one is dead (or send it on time for you to get the new one after the old one expires?)

I just hope they fix this ASAP because it seems awfully shady to charge a person for a card then not send it to them before the old one expires or before they CHARGE you MONEY

Last resort is referring to Useless Sheep like yourself that doesn't have a real CC to conduct biz with and is forced to use some High interrest, high transaction, no support card like epassporte. You obviously are an Idiot with no clue kid. :2 cents:

epassporte is a little more than just a visa.. I have several visa cards and mastercard but they dont help me get paid..

You cant get paid to a regular visa ? so you have to wait for your check to arrive or bank wire to arrive , while epassporte users can drive down to the local atm and get paid within minutes of being paid..

I guess you must not have an account because there is no interest on an epassporte account. The transaction fees are inline with most other cards , but offer more service that NO other card offers so theres no comparison.

As far as support , yes they need some help with that.. and a few other minor issues.

I received a renewed epassporte card on Friday (Jan, 28) - Old one is good thru 01/05

Paypal used to be able to "withdraw" funds into Visa cards, I guess by using a refund transaction. Visa didn't like that so they banned it. :disgust
