Epassporte blocked electron card - happened to you?

Why was it blocked the first time and how did it get un-blocked? I've had a few people tell me this has happened to them.

I have heard 2 different versions..

1 from epassporte saying that the hard card will never expire , it will autorenew , but no need for a new card.

but

someone else posted recently and said he heard from customer support that they will send out a new card,.. so i guess thats not much help

Epassport says the card was blocked because I entered the wrong pin number 3 times at an ATM..... I can code php, run a network of 100 sites but fuck the pin up 3 times in a row? oh please... there must be antoher reason.

My card expires end of Jan, and it's just hitting 30th now and my card is yet to be sent... now they say theres a $100 fee for it to be expedited?

- blocked cards every month
- no card for 3-4 weeks while it gets sent out

And yes the card does hvae an expiry on it... cant use it after that!

I am blocked right now. They wanted some docs from me but their fax could nto read the docs so I am mailing them snail.

That is very lame , why wouldnt they send the card out earlier.. im sure they charged your yearly fee for the card .

Well, they charged me about a week ago, I try to keep my balance as low as possible, but theres a fair bit stuck in there now..

My bank of america card expires the same time, and I received a new card from them in DECEMBER.....

makes you wonder...

It looks like the card expired a few days earlier.

Does ePassporte only send a new card after that one is dead (or send it on time for you to get the new one after the old one expires?)

it seems when your card expires it will.

I just hope they fix this ASAP because it seems awfully shady to charge a person for a card then not send it to them before the old one expires or before they CHARGE you MONEY

epassporte is a little more than just a visa.. I have several visa cards and mastercard but they dont help me get paid..

You cant get paid to a regular visa ? so you have to wait for your check to arrive or bank wire to arrive , while epassporte users can drive down to the local atm and get paid within minutes of being paid..

I guess you must not have an account because there is no interest on an epassporte account. The transaction fees are inline with most other cards , but offer more service that NO other card offers so theres no comparison.

As far as support , yes they need some help with that.. and a few other minor issues.

Paypal used to be able to "withdraw" funds into Visa cards, I guess by using a refund transaction. Visa didn't like that so they banned it.
