true but i'm talking about the site listed ON the linkdump.

should'nt google ignore the inbound link coming from a linkdump because it functions as a FFA and pages google recognized as FFA's are usally a bad place for your site to be listed in

The answer to your question is NO it doesnt ban link dumps. But the thing is, a linkdump will have a few hundred outgoing links, so the pr its giving you is very small.

i found a few linkdumps with PR 6 that have 60 links on a page - that seems pretty good to me

I thought about that too a few weeks ago, but wouldn't that give your competition the chance to hurt your Rankings by posting your site to linkdumps? That would be even more harmful than it is now, so I don't think that Google threatens a linkdump in any other (penalized) way than any other site. But what do I know :1orglaugh

I actually saw a guy put a linkdump on adwords once. I bet that was you!
