How long can you marinate Steak and Chicken before it goes bad?

How many days can you marinate steak and chicken before it goes bad? I am assuming it will go bad if meat is in liquid for a long period of time? Anyone know the answer to this?

Steak... You have to kill the cow after 8 years because then it doesnīt have any milk left.

Chicken: Up to a year if you donīt like to eat cock!

Ok, the steaks and chicken were frozen in the fridge, but now they have been thawed and I am putting a bunch of them in big containers in special marinate blends that contain wine and different sauces.

The reason why I want to marinate them for long periods of time is simply because I am marinating so much meat that it will not all be consumed soon, so I am just wondering how long I can have these meats sitting marinating before it starts to go bad.

2 - 3 days MAX..

The wine is acidic, which will "cook" the meat.

Best bet is, cook it all up and freeze the "leftovers".

I know it's not as good, but atleast that way the meat won't go to waste..

3 days tops. The best thing to do is marinate them before you freeze them. That way the seasoning goes into it as it thaws

Leave it for a few weeks. It will just get softer and softer.
