Guys do you pay on the first or second date?
 

Ever when i was broke i saved quarters, dollars and not spend a dime just to save for that date. Some guys i know won't spring and they're still single.

yeah, i've always just considered it a social courtesy to pay on all dates.

I generally pay for the chicky unless she insists on paying for herself. Some chicks are touchy about that.

I always pay....current gf I have been going out with for 7months and have payed for 99% of what we have done together. It pays off though when she makes me food, gives me sex, or just does anything for me.

I pay on every date, but girls who don't at least propose paying half sometimes can go fuck themselves. I don't mind paying, but spoiled chicks annoy the hell out of me.

If a girl doesn't at least offer to pay her share, that tells you a LOT about the kind of person she is.

On the other hand, there's no bigger turn off than a cheap ass guy or one who makes likes to point out that HE paid, like you owe him something in return. UGH

It's definitely a delicate subject with a fine line of social acceptability.

the way it works with me is i dont ever let them pay, but the ones that sometimes will go out of there way to pay for things or even offer means alot, those girls i will give more to in the long run.

i have been with my current (jewish) gf for almost a year. She is the cheapest person I ever met. Never fucken even offers. When she gets up in the am she goes into my money to buy herself coffee. Here's the sad part-- she makes 60k a year and gets 3k a month from her x husband. Her cheapness makes me hate her and I will be done with her within a few weeks. And before anyone blasts me I'm jewish so I can say it.

I think long term us men should pay for dinners and the girls should pay for breakfast or lunch...

Some women these days will go on and on about equality and how they feel patronized when men do things like paying for dinner or pulling their chair out for them, but god, you know if you doin't do it they're just going to go and bitch about it to all their friends. haha.

Personally, i'm kinda old fashioned and i will always pay. Luckily, the girls i'm interested seem to enjoy the perks of chivalry.

this is a really sensitive issue, everybody has a different opinion on it. For me, I will always offer and say thank you, but if I asked someone on a date I will insist on paying, I asked them, my treat.

I've definitely found myself a little weirded out in that sort of situation.. where I was asked out by the girl, and then she insists on paying. Sort of a nice change, but still shocking.

Guess I'm an asshole though, because the last time that happened I left on a business trip a few days later, and never called her again (this was 6 weeks ago). I still owe her a nice dinner (she spent a good $300 on our dinner).

You can be mean to them, be an asshole but make sure you pay on every date.

That is the worst thing you can do is pay your own and make her pay for hers. I have seen it happen many times and I think its so wrong.
