Why is sending traffic directly to a paysite a bad idea?
 

Why is it bad. It seems so much easier and direct.

however if you can buy some good niche traffic from choker for example im sure you can send it directly to a paysite, im not sure if this is allowed tho.

well if you are using the sponsers promotional tools then I can't see a reason not to send to the tour. However if you are using your own "generic" promo content. Well then sending to a landing page is the smart thing to do, becouse if you decide to try a new sponser you can just change the landing page with one simple link update instead of hundreds.

Always use landing pages to control your traffic.

Paysites seem to offer equal or better content (free) in their tours on site.

I just read on GFY a lot that its a stupid thing do to and that conversions are 1:3000 as opposed the the usual 1:300 when you send it to a TGP then to a gallery then finaly to the site

1 in 300 that way? Ok. Whatever.

If you buy traffic from Choker ( and yes you can now buy for pay sites ) you get some pretty good traffic.

In regards to the conversion ratio, of course the "numbers" are going to be much lower. You're forcing the surfer to bounce through one extra page.

The less amount of clicks to the destinition the better. The best way to filter the traffic is to mirror the site tour and just link to the sponsor's join page. That way you have more control over the traffic.

sending to paysites like Nasty Dollars that has free samples on the tour do ok, it's hit or miss. I think the best way to promote a sponsor is with a gallery, or as others said a landing page, FPA, etc. Sending traffic from a TGP to a traditional paysite that looks like a paysite is a waste of traffic.

Will NOT do good. No offense to this site but it looks TOO much like a paysite. I am sure it does great with filtered traffic.

It depends on the preview.

Most of my traffic is SE and gets mapped directly to the best sponsor preview, but I have found that if the previews are too brief, the surfer has not had a chance to get enthusiastic about the site and may not be ready to sign up so quickly.

Brief previews are great to quickly sort out the buyers from the freeloaders, but I'm having better conversions by sending SE traffic directly to a longer and more generous previews.
