well if you are using the sponsers promotional tools then I can't see a reason not to send to the tour. However if you are using your own "generic" promo content. Well then sending to a landing page is the smart thing to do, becouse if you decide to try a new sponser you can just change the landing page with one simple link update instead of hundreds.Originally posted by kaliboy2g

The less amount of clicks to the destinition the better. The best way to filter the traffic is to mirror the site tour and just link to the sponsor's join page. That way you have more control over the traffic.I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

sending to paysites like Nasty Dollars that has free samples on the tour do ok, it's hit or miss. I think the best way to promote a sponsor is with a gallery, or as others said a landing page, FPA, etc. Sending traffic from a TGP to a traditional paysite that looks like a paysite is a waste of traffic.Originally posted by pornguy

It depends on the preview.
Most of my traffic is SE and gets mapped directly to the best sponsor preview, but I have found that if the previews are too brief, the surfer has not had a chance to get enthusiastic about the site and may not be ready to sign up so quickly.
Brief previews are great to quickly sort out the buyers from the freeloaders, but I'm having better conversions by sending SE traffic directly to a longer and more generous previews.
So far at least...
