Checked out the 2005 MUSTANG.

Come next spring I'll be trading in my A4 for a sportier car. I had my mind set on the RX8...untill today anyway.

I went to check out the 2005 Mustang GT (didnt test drive yet). Looks real nice, nice clean lines and a GREAT finish for an American car. They realy improved the way the driver sits in. Every thing...shifter, wheel, pedals seems closer, where it should be. The seating is firm and up-right and visabilaty is great. They really out did themselves this time around. The best part, its about 4-5K cheaper than the RX8, and its much roomier.

Come spring time I'll test drive them both and decide from there.

Just thought ID share.

Go with the stang. Those RX8's are absolutely hideous.

I love the look of the new 2005 Stang!

Doctor Dre 11-26-2004 06:40 PM

I'd take the stang GT over an rx8 anytime

The magazines dont do it justice, looks much better in person. The front end of the GT (center fog lights) is stunning!

xclusive 11-26-2004 06:42 PM

The stang is a real mans car...:2 cents:

lagwagon 11-26-2004 06:43 PM

I'm not really fond of the look of the RX8 but the new mustangs are very nice!

My sister bought a 2004 Mazda 6 and its a very nice car... got really high ratings too... They really improved their lineup.

No doubt. It's a beautiful car. The front end, back end, interior... everything. I'm waiting for the SVT model next year.

I would stereotype the RX8 in that category not the Stang. After all, those movies are about the "ricer generation".

Mustang used to have the repution of 18 year old punks racing around and shit...but that was in the early 90's. Heck, is was one of those punks. I had Mustangs from the age of 16 till about 20ish. Good ole days

Thats the best way to go. The new stangs look nice but everyone and their mother will own one. If you want to be unique try to get your hands on a saleen.

Mustang drivers in my experience (nowadays) are the sunglass wearing, "cool guys", who talk about going to the gym non stop. (Usually the pricks who talk shit at clubs)

wyldblyss 11-26-2004 08:20 PM

I love Mustangs...but this one...it takes the cake. Perfect blend of the old and the new. I would love to have one of those babies parked in my driveway.

sickkittens 11-26-2004 08:22 PM

Horsepower (SAE net @ rpm)
210 @ 5250
300 @ 5750 (GT)

Torque (lb.-ft. @ rpm)
240 @ 3500
320 @ 4500 (GT)

I thought it would more horse than that.

Most Mustang owners are strange, they feel they are accomplishing something by reving their engine at me even when they're driving the other way on the highway or stopped at a light perpendicular to me, etc.

I do like the styling of the new mustang tho. First modern Mustang I truely like.

Happens mostly with Mustang drivers. Mostly the 5.0's. Bunch of idiots on average. I'm sure there's a few intellegent ones out there but I haven't come across many.

Actually I'm out quite often.

I have no clue who you are, but I don't really care to find out either. You're certainly not representative of the company in your sig.

I assume you're one of these silly mustang drivers. Oh well, understood.

So, are you one of these engine reving Mustang driving kiddies? Or are you just bored and figured you'd pick me to annoy tonight?

Yup. It's pretty sad, actually. Must have something to do with penis size.

You must be a real idiot to get all worked up over an observation I've made. Quite a life you must have. I'm bored of you now, get a life and move on.

(P.S. I have many friends who have Mustangs/Camaros/etc., but it still remains true that the most anxious of them are the 5.0 drivers. It's not a "stereotype", it's true. Get over it.)

Nah. IMO that's a silly statement made by mostly jealous people. I never understood how people could think a car choice could be related to dick size. Like saying women who like expensive shoes and bags must have loose pussies :)

pood 11-26-2004 11:16 PM

eeww!

now

go for a BMW M3!

gonna get a 02 M3, black on black, SMG
