especially the bottom ones?

a good diet is #1 but leg lifts (upright bring knees to the chest) and leg raises (laying down with legs straight) work the lower ones pretty good.

lay down on the floor, flat.

raise your legs straight up in the air, hands flat on the ground beside you.

have someone straddle over you and as you bring your legs up, have the other person PUSH YOUR FEET AWAY TOWARDS THE FLOOR as hard as he/she can, BUT DONT LET YOUR FEET TOUCH THE FLOOR.

start out doing only 10 of those a day. Then 20...30...etc etc.

trust me, after day 1, you'll feel your abs in pain. but...it works. :2 cents:

I think I'll just have 14 beers instead of my usual 15...that's too much work :(

I guarantee the best way to do your abs is what a real trainer
at a real kickboxing GYM makes his fighters do.

You have to be able to withstand good kicks.

well i used to take kickboxing actually, no time for it anymore...my abs are actually ok, i have a 6 pack if i flex them....but i want a 6 pack without having to flex them...and i want a 6 pack of beer right now, damnit...

Any ab exercise really as long as you do an explosive positive and slow negative.

Whatever you do don't do 60-100 crunches thinking you're going to get awesome abs. Abs are like any other muscle and they need to be challenged....do you do 60 reps on a bench?....do weighted crunches/leg-lifts, about 12-16 max. 3 times a week, none of that daily bullshit.

the most important aspect of getting "great abs" involves your diet. if your bodyfat isn't low enough, it doesn't matter HOW much you work your abs if there is too much fat on top.

and there is a lot of controversy about abs.. just with the biceps, there is essentially only one type of movement.

and hip flexor exercises like leg raises are worthless because they target an area called the psoas, which is useless.

leg lifts for sure, they put less strain on the back as opposed to crunches, and they work your entire abs, probably the most effective workout for your lower abs.

i have a door gym system with ab loops i purchased on ebay (pullup bar with loops for your elbows that sets up in any doorway) i suggest you purchase one of those. Dont forget your diet is just as important if not more important to makein gains.
