How will Kerry dig himself out of this ditch?
Looks like the US did find and destroy those explosives..
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,137017,00.html |
oh if fox runs it, it must be true. especially so close to the elections.

This was just another example of a floundering campaign attempting to capitalize on an inflammatory situation before all the facts are known. Pathetic. |
I don't see much of a ditch to dig out of and I'm skeptical about this revelation. It is Fox News after all
|
|
All media bias aside... Kerry has been saying Bush was incompetent because he didn?t find and destroy these weapons? now it looks like they were found and destroyed?
That will hurt Kerry for sure. It could be a "reverse" October surprise? |
The headline stories a few days before the election will now read something like this:
Kerry Campaign Asserts False Allegations Against Bush In Final Days Before Election. How does that come across? :1orglaugh |

funny it took a WEEK for the military to come out with this info. Obviously FAKE. I remember every day in the beginning of the war every 5 minutes FOX would broadcast "WMDs FOUND!" and we all know how that turned out.
|
It doesn't matter, people don't need John Kerry or missing explosives to know that George Bush is incompetent. George Bush is a lame duck just like his Dad, you guys are going to have to come to grips with that.
|
If they did find and destroy them, then why not publish that information a long time ago.
Why face all the bad press about there being no WMD. |
Ya know that whole thing was most likely a mis information play by Team Bush.
Regardless fact is alot of munitions are un accounted for. Including WmD. Remember that one fact, that one solid irrefutable piece that Bush and his emperical morons kept spewing on and on about that lead up to the False ar in Iraq? Oh yeah... Now its about missing stock piles of conventional weapons... American's are inherently dumb for the most part swallowing what ever puke Bush barf's up. |

Funny how Faux News is "fair and balanced" yet only pro BUSH ads on their site. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Anyone for Bush is too stupid to vote thus should have their voting rights revoked or be shot in the head. |
Yeah.. sure they did... they were right next to the WMD's
:1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh If Kerry was wrong the so be it. The fact remains that we should not be in Iraq in the first place. We are there on a lie so now Bush gets creit for ONE truth and its all over? LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL! Please |
Kerry sets himself up for this kinda thing by running such a bs compaign. If he would just stick to the issues and be honest, he would probably win easy. On the radio station I listen to almost every commericial is a Kerry ad and they are such bs its not even funny.

The International Atomic Energy Agency places a seal over storage bunkers holding conventional explosives known as HMX and RDX and PETN at the Al-Qaqaa facility south of Baghdad as part of U.N. sanctions that ordered the dismantlement of Iraq?s nuclear program after the Gulf War. HMX is a ?dual use? substance powerful enough to ignite the fissile material in an atomic bomb and set off a nuclear chain reaction. 2003 January IAEA inspectors view the explosives at Al-Qaqaa for the last time. The inspectors take an inventory and again place storage bunkers at Al-Qaqaa under agency seal. February IAEA chief Mohamed ElBaradei tells the United Nations that Iraq has declared that ?HMX previously under IAEA seal had been transferred for use in the production of industrial explosives.? This apparently didn?t include the HMX that remained under seal at Al-Qaqaa. March 9-15 Nuclear agency inspectors visit Al-Qaqaa for the last time but apparently don?t examine the explosives because the seals aren?t broken. The inspectors then pull out of the country. March 20 The U.S.-led coalition invades Iraq. April 3 The Army?s 3rd Infantry Division reaches Al-Qaqaa, fights with Iraqi forces, occupies the site and leaves after two days for Baghdad without searching for high explosives. April 9 The 3rd Infantry Division captures Baghdad. April 10 Troops from the 101st Airborne Division?s 2nd Brigade spend 24 hours at the site, search for chemical weapons ? but not high explosives ? and then head to Baghdad. An NBC reporter embedded with the unit said there?s no talk among the 101st of securing the area after they leave. May 3 The nuclear agency purportedly notifies the U.S. Mission in Vienna of its concerns about the Al-Qaqaa facility. May 8 An American site survey team arrives to inspect the Latifiyah Phosgene Facility ? part of Al-Qaqaa ? and finds the plant heavily looted. May 11 An American site survey team arrives to inspect Latifiyah Missile and Rocket production facility, also part of Al-Qaqaa. The team assesses the facility as non-operational but with possible dual use. May 27 U.S. troops search specifically for high explosives. The troops find the seals have been broken. It?s not clear whether they did a further accounting of the materials themselves. 2004 Oct. 10 Iraq?s Ministry of Science and Technology tells the nuclear agency that 377 tons of explosives has disappeared from the Al-Qaqaa facility. The Iraqis say the materials were stolen after the April 9, 2003, fall of Baghdad because of a lack of security. Oct. 15 The IAEA informs the U.S. mission in Vienna about the disappearance. National security adviser Condoleezza Rice is informed days later, and she informs President Bush, according to White House press secretary Scott McClellan. Oct. 23-24 The Pentagon orders the U.S. military command in Baghdad to investigate the IAEA report. Oct. 25 ElBaradei reports the explosives? disappearance to the U.N. Security Council after The New York Times reports the cache is missing. |
fox news is so lame.
The FBI announced yesterday they are investigating Halliburton about the no bid policies our administration has been hooking them up with and i havent seen it on fox news all day. |

BUSH IS INCOMPETENT, that is the REAL problem |
the bottom line of this whole story is this:
FUCK THE UN FUCK THE IAEA |
Ok first of all most polls I see already said that 96% of peole say they ahve already decided who they will vote for. And in my states 30% of all registered voters ALREADY voted early. Hard enough to get 50% to vote in an election most years and already 30% voted early. Voter turnout will probally be 70% or more. Anyays last time I checked, those 30% can't change thier vote either way now can they?

If it was true they would have just come out with it but they had to make stuff up fucking republicans...

But those 250 tons were not located under the seal of the International Atomic Energy Agency ? as the missing high-grade explosives had been ? and Pentagon spokesman Larry Di Rita could not definitely say whether they were part of the missing 377 tons.
