The best way to be rich is subtle and understated - don't flaunt it, just enjoy it. People will interact with you based on YOU not on their jealousy or bitterness. :2 cents:

Read this thread and it's pretty obvious that the biggest downside, apparently even if you just think about being rich, is you get a wildly inflated opinion of yourself.

They are too hot in the eyes of thieves, gangs and evil persons. They are really that famous and talk of the town.

The downside of being rich is when you become complacent with the money you're making and you don't plan for the future.
This is especially true for those who either luck into or back into scads of money and then never think to bring on the person or staff who will help them keep their wealth. The waste is incredible. And, sad when they wake up one day and find themselves poor. |
